I requested a ride not even 8 miles away. Quoted me $38 to $53. Craziest ish ever. App deleted

Tried using in Galveston after a cruise since Uber is not allowed. You would think with two cruise ships arriving in port at the same time, there would be drivers. Nope. Waited for 20 mins. Finally took a cab.

I tried to sign up as a driver , the webpage is not functioning correctly , It won't even let you sign up , I took the time to email them , they ignored my email . May be this company needs more funds to function as a ride sharing app

The app needs major improvements.

The app is not letting me to sing in. Spent two days emailing the support, still not resolved.

The worst of the bunch when it comes to the replacement of Uber in Austin. They'll charge you a cancellation fee when you didn't cancel, have drivers 20 miles away accepting rides and not being able to cancel because of the nonrefundable fee, and their support is nonexistent even though they have an office full of employees sitting on their butts doing nothing. Drivers are getting screwed out of their tips and not compensated for several rides. Try Fasten or Fare. Much better alternatives.

I had an issue with this app working so I called customer service......let me say that again I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE! Other rideshare companies don't have customer service phone lines. I spoke to a human after leaving a message and getting a call back immediately. Havent gotten a chance to use the service yet but so far I'm happy!

Do not waste your time with getme. Rides are never available. The rides that are available are too far. The rides that are close are no longer available when you try to accept. The drivers don't get a ping for ride requests. It's a rat race to see who can get to it first. This company won't be able to survive. Use lyft or uber in Houston.

I used their service for a new years ride that was only 9 miles long. They ended up charging me $90.00 for the ride. They say that they show an estimated trip charge which doesn't actually happen. They do not disclose the rates at the time of service and just assume that you are going to be ok with whatever they are going to charge you. DO NOT USE THEM FOR A RIDE SERVICE JUST CALL A CAB.

Waited on a ride but never picked me up. One driver wasn't able to pick up request so I had to wait about 15 min for another pickup. When I did request a ride the driver never came to my address. Took $47.00 out of my account and then went to other locations in Houston! I was not happy with this but called my credit card to dispute it. Screenshot the driver in case a lie was going to be said. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS SERVICE. THEY ARE EXPENSIVE AS YELLOW CAB!

Both drivers I've had so far were great. The app isn't great with tracking where your driver actually is but each driver I had were great about texting and calling before arriving. Fix the app and I'll use it like I used Uber..which was a LOT

I've applied to this company and have failed to hear from anyone. Maybe they are doing too well to need another awesome, dedicated driver. Disappointed.

This application always provided inaccurate pickup time which is just horrible to experience when you are somebody that has important things going on

I ordered a short list of items, including a small bag of dog food, trail mix and apples.Today is Sunday and I am currently stranded at an airport until Tuesday night. I have my dog with me, and just as I do, my puppy needs food. Anthony B accepted my request at 10:34pm. An hour later at 11:23pm I received a text asking what kind of apples and trail mix. I spoke with this person on the phone and assured me his ETA was 30 min. Received a cancellation text at 12:05am. Terrible service, never using again

The whole point of rideshare is to be cheaper than the cab companies. App is clunky and it takes forever to get a ride. If you wonder about the positive reviews, they're all fake. Notice how almost all of them use the word vetted. How many people do you know that use vetted on a regular basis? Company shills. The app is junk.

I used this service in its infancy and was pleased with it. It was not perfect but I figured they would improve with time. I've used it a few times in the past few months and nothing has changed. You could argue that it has become worse. The app does not work, at all. The location feature doesn't work so the drivers will call you no matter what to ask where they're picking you up. The fares are too high as stated by everyone else. This is pretty much an app that can hail you a cab.

This is what Austinites are supposed to use instead of Uber? god help us. Edit: not too terrible once you manually go in and set location permissions, but that step should not be necessary. Edit Oct 2 2016 tried this app again and I'm even less satisfied than the first time

Bad technician for the drivers. Every time come to accept the job, tells me the trip already taken. That's ridiculous. Been like that since they start and they won't solve the issue!

After trying this a couple times, a driver named Joseph F in Austin made me wait 40 min, even though initially the estimated time was 10 min. When he finally got a block away from my house, he called to say he was there. I told him he had to drive another block and he said "no, that's not what my map said." I told him I didn't care what the map said, I was in front of my house and he wasn't there and could he just drive up one block. He hung up on me and cancelled my ride. Never ride Get Me again.

What a swindle! Installed and used it for the first time today in Austin. The app got stuck trying to "determine driver arrival time". After more than 10 minutes of waiting, I called the driver, who apparently spoke no English and gave no answer as to why he isn't coming. Cancelled the ride, but was still charged a $5 "cancellation fee" for nothing!

Why would anyone want to enter their CC info into an app before they've even had the opportunity to check it out?

DO NOT USE THIS APP. THIS APP IS OWNED BY CAB COMPANIES. THEY ALSO TRY TO GET OUT OF PAYING THEIR DRIVES BY SAYING "they cant pay them" im not a driver. But i know multiple people this has happened to

The geolocalization simply doesn't work. the driver is likely to miss you. Nevertheless you have to pay. The first time I tried to use it, it cost me 6 dollars. The driver didn't even try to contact me, he simply left after a couple of minutes, although I was at my original pickup location. The second time I used this app, the same thing happened again. This time the driver contacted me but he simply was somewherelse because the localization system failed. However I was billed 5 dollars.

Could not ping my location. Had to have driver that dropped off recent fair create Hotspot in order to make app work. Took 45 min of sitting on curb and 1 compassionate driver to successfully make it home. Full on application failure!!!

Lol I already thought the app was really unattractive but they seemed to some how made it worse. Get Me now looks like some sort of dating app with an awful color scheme... but it does work better then a taxi service in Austin but it's still more expensive then Uber of course... Also is super slow on giving an ETA and if you cancel there is a charge for it!!!!

The new dark theme is hideous. Please revert back to the way it was.

Tried using it to order food and groceries, both times the driver or "go getter" never showed up. Want a good delivery app try Favor it's a shame it does not get where I live.
