Unable to delete door and start over, customer service is a joke with a 2 hour wait.

It has improved a lot but still can't understand why they do not allow access from ifttt or wink to create rules with other apps.

Constantly offline and need to reset.

Working excellent since the latest update. LOVE LOVE LOVE the new auto shut feature. Wife used to always yell at me "You know... you left the garage door open again!!!" Well, not anymore.

Love the latest version. My wife frequently leaves the door open and now I can set rules to close it automatically. Thanks for saving my marriage

I have had this app for over a year and they still can't fix the notification. All they want is your money.

Update 2.0 is great! It fixes the "OFFLINE" bug. More options and stability now. Thanks!

Fast and easy

Please Dev release an API or simple mDNS/Bonjour curl command or ANYTHING to connect this to a home automation system (smartthings please), for the love of God, you would sell so many units so fast. You don't even have to support it!

Initially worked fine for about 4 months. Now the app constantly shows the DCM offline and have to power reset the unit.

1. Can't figure out how to customize notifications. 2. Can't set a pin code for app 3. Doesn't integrate with smart home systems. Genie - this is a great physical produce with a massive need to upgrade the software. Please add more features!

App stopped working for me please fix even after the new update it still shows old date and when u push open it opens garage but app still shows opening also don't get notifications when garage opens or closes

This app simply does not work. It is a good example of how not to write software. My garage is "offline" 80% of the time. What if your garage only worked 20% of the time, would you buy it?

Never had issues until recent update. Now I don't receive notifications and the homescreen is stuck on old date.

Buggiest app in the history of Android.

I had issues with this app from the beginning. Finally stopped working and they sent a new Door Control Unit and since then has worked flawlessly. Thanks! When it works is good but I frequently have to clear cache, force stop and even restart my phone to get the app to work

My app has been stuck on opening for two days now (door has been opened and closed many times). App constantly logs out. Tried clearing cache to try and get it to work. Very buggy.

If you are experiencing problems opening the app, go into your app setting and delete your cache and data information. This seemed to reset my app and made the app work again. The app works great when you get it to work. Just thought I would share what I did to make it work.

Great idea, wish the app would connect after you get back into the app! Fix your damn product or I am getting a refund!

Has to be the most difficult thing to connect to wifi that I have ever dealt with. Software lags and locks out user often.

Seems the new Android update has messed up the app stopped working on 2-3-17 when I updated my OS. My wife's stopped also ***** update user error I got it working again******

The phone alarm notification alert stopped working on all my devices, cell and tablet. Both set to alert but both stopped working last week.

App sux. Don't work half the time. That or the hardware sux. Either way was a waste of money...

Cannot connect kept stating sever is unavailable

Got a notification it closed when no-one is home but cant log into app to check. Is the system down?

Hard to connect it take almost 10 minutes sometimes to get the door open. It should be a lot more reliable then it is.

System works great until roughly every 6 months they push an automatic firmware update to it the door controller and it stops working until I reset EVERYTHING. The Android software is basic and functional but could be made so much better with more features and control over notifications. I have been in contact with Genie repeatedly to report bugs (i.e. phone notification DOES NOT disable) that clearly have been ignored.

Wow... Who wrote and tested this?!?! App doesn't stay logged in. App can't connect to the Internet when every other app on my phone can. Notification still works though. App can't connect to the server. Garage doors are offline. I think this thing works about 5% of the time. Big waste of money so far.

I purchased 2 7055TKALV and I love the openers but the app is a major disappointment. When I turn off audible notifications I expect not to receive them. When I have to log in every time and the "remember me" doesn't work I'm pissed! I ended up configuring a zwave op to avoid their nuisance deficiencies. Sad.

This app has always been a bit finicky. But now it's straight up been terrible, it logs me out automatically after 20-30 minutes (remember me is enabled).

Agree with everyone else. Bought this opener because of the smartphone capability but should have looked into it more. Cmon Genie!!! Disappointed. Keeps logging me out and can't manage notifications

The app used to work. Now it flaps like a bird. Strong wifi signal out in my garage and all. Seems every hour I get a notification the app and garage have disconnected.

Tried numerous times to get this working. Contacted customer service and they were polite but clueless. Have new router. Reinstalled app. Tired of wasting time trying to set this up. Genii website has glowing reviews, of course. Glad this came with the opener. There has to be some better system out there. If my Ring works fine, why doesn't this piece of junk?
