Dimmer ( Night Mode )

A good way to switch between low light and auto. I use another app called privacy filter to go even darker. Would lov similar app for max brtnss /auto

Setting, my tablet to 10 in a dark room actually brightens the screen. No settings, no options to set it lower. Good concept, poor implementation. Uninstalled.

My eyes thank you! Many times, I get up at 3-4 in the morning, this app allows me to look at my phone without completely going blind from the brightness. This is the only app on the market that does this. Thank you, thank you!

On the first night, it was dimming from "131 to 10" and that was fine. But sometime today, for no reason, my phone dimmed on it's own. It's never done that before. And now it's going from "47 to 10". So thanks but no thanks

Sorry, but it simply did not work. Says the brightness is being changed from 20 to 10, but there's no difference on screen brightness

I have it set to toggle from auto to 10%. Would get 5 star if you could go to 5% cause 10 is little too bright in a dark room.

I love my Infuse, but the screen is to bright in the dark even at the lowest setting. This Dimmer ap is great, it lowers the glare from the screen

It says "restoring brightness from 10 to 10"; that's it? Does nothing on the Droid-x2

Perfect I searched, I found, I'm thrilled. Terrific app, really does the job exactly right. Could not be happier.

It merely reduces or restores brightness from 10 to 10, and.there are no settings to change anything. Absolute crap.

I use this on my phone, and the same developer's Auto Bright app on my tablet, for times when it's too dark and the phone sensors don't realize it. Droid X

Says it's dimming the screen but it does nothing. Likely too outdated (2011) to keep up with Android OS changes.

Developer : please try to make it work in X10i , it worked in 1.6v android but failed in later releases. Thank you..

Using Samsung i9000 S with android 2.3.3 I could see no difference although the apps feedback was that it reduced light from 18 to 10.

The widget performs in a clean, straightforward manner. The icon is sweet too. That said, it would be great if the dimmer went less than 10.

Does what it says. Easy to use. Sometimes gets stuck on 30 max instead of returning to auto bright. Droidx.

It gives only one brightness level which is not that much dim. 'night mode' on play store is better.

No longer functions properly on Motorola ATRIX since Gingerbread update.

Doesn't go below the lowest setting on HTC Sensation otherwise it's a quick dimmer app

Good effort and great widget/app but Sorry this doesn't get dimmer then my auto setting. 'Night Mode' app does the job

False statement "Super Dimmer" makes ur phone a lot dimmer!

I like simple apps that just do what you need it to do without fanfare. This app does all I want it to do as nd only what I want it to do.

This app seems to be as simple as it gets. You click the icon and it goes into low brightness mode. I even works for the soft buttons on my Nexus 5, which no other night mode app does. Sadly you don't have any configuration options as far as I can tell. That would make this app truly useful.

Great way to save battery. Simple to use. Need to have some way to indicate if dimmer is active...have icon change?

It didn't do anything..My'stock minimum brightness' is too bright..I was hoping for an app that wasnt same as settings,that I don't need an app for :L

Use the widget to go instantly from full bright (”day”) to full dim (”night”) & back again with one touch. It's just perfect!

Now my eyes don't burn when reading at night. Also great for driving.

It's always been the easiest way for me to dim my phone at night. No settings menus needed.

This allows me to adjust the brightness down as far as it will go until the screen is black, which is great for using the phone in a dark room.

Great app, no idea why others have rated it poorly, saves enormous time in going through setting to adjust brightness. As a nursing mum it is fab

Said it adjusted from 40 to 10...no change observed.

It just does what it's supossed to do - auto-brightness off and backlight down to 10 or the other way round.

Using Samsung Galaxy Note 2, app didn't work.

But doesn't bring EVO 3D below htc level of minimum brightness.

Made no difference on xperia 10i gingerbread.

Exactly what I was looking for. It would be more amazing if it also could do what Screen Filter app does to go little extra dark. -HTC Thunderbolt

Good for instant brightness drop, but doesn't drop below min value. (get screen filter for that)
