Auto Bright

Great app. Helps tremendously when auto backlight decides it doesn't want to be on anymore.

Crap! It's only toggles auto brightness on but not off so it's useless!

Excellent app, given 5 stars but please implement the reverse toggle to turn auto back off...then you'll really deserve it!

The one reason to find app like this thats coz the option auto bright on my phone is work anomaly. Give me headache on dark room. Samsung moment.

It's an app that only enables auto-brightness . Not a widget, unless you add as an app shortcut. Good, but not what I was looking for.

my touch 3g with android 1.6 doesn't seem to have auto bright. so this app ends up doing nothing even though it reports success.

Great toggle between auto and preset (in my case: lowest) brightness.

My auto brightness control disappeared from my settings, this saved the day as kindle brightness will not work without auto brightness disabled.xperia x10i running 2.3.3

Probably my most used app on my phone

I use this on my tablet, and the same developer's Dimmer app on my phone, for times when it's too dark and the tablet's sensors don't realize it. Galaxy Tab 10.1

man, I needed this. hate diving through menus for this setting. no widget (doesn't really need one tho)

Where's widget? Pls enable 'disable auto brightness' or return to original setting/level 30 when press icon again.

Restores auto brightness. Pair with Dimmer by same people; add various dimmer widgets if you need variable manual control.

If this could be set on the home screen as a widget instead of a shortcut to the app it would be great.

I used it in a custom lockscreen, because I usually have the backlight turned off for indoor use (to save battery), but then I forget to change it, and when I pull out the phone outside I can't even see the screen well enough to enter the unlock pattern. Now I can just remember where to tap on the screen and I get instant auto backlight.

Excellent, simple toggle widget that turns auto brightness on and off. I no longer need it as the latest S3 update has now put a brightness control in the notification area. Recommended +++
