iSeeNotes *72 HOUR TRIAL* for Android
AWFUL !!!!! Has to be one of the worst apps ever!
Absolutely does not work
It doesn't even play the music. It plays something completely different
Fails to read multiple staffs, interprets anything as notes
Crashes every time I take a picture
dont waste your time with it

Nope :-(( Needs alot more work. Admittedly, an OCR for music notation cannot be easy to produce. But, simply put; this one (attempt) doesn't work. Try again ... please! The more one tries the better it might get! "The difference between a Master and a student is; the Master has tried and failed alot more times than the student"
App inverted camera so trying to scan music made it upside down, resulting in the app trying to play the piece backwards. Pretty lame.
Notes jumped all over the place, missed notes, wrong tempo-terrible!
I'm not picky, my ability to sight read didn't escape my preteen years. This allowed me to sing a song from a book to my kids. Whaddya want??
Useless. Keeps saying it doesn't see any notes.
Anyone ever got this app to work
Terrible app
Didn't work
This app is garbage. Too good to be true
Really bad a great idea but sounds and plays horrible it's like they gave up half way through the design
It done nothing except tell me that no notes where detected even though the score was clearly visible. Uninstalled after two minutes.
VERY BAD! It did random notes and interpreted the bass clef and treble clef for really low Cs!
Crashes
Please keep developing this it's a great idea tho not mature/functionally complete enough yet for what I'd want to use it for (scanning choir music with multiple parts). It gets some of them and plays it and highlights them on screen (great feature). If you could add notes visually that would be fun.
It picks what notes it wants to play. I have tried several lines and it still picks and chooses and skips notes.
No notes detected
Uninstalling after thus review. doesn't get all notes, plays horribly choppy, and what's with the area for the picture? music isn't written in landscape people.
Unfortunately this app constantly crashed on my Acer Iconia A1-830. EVERY time I deleted a image it crashed. It would also not play every note . This app does have some great potential though.
Even reads the clef marks as notes, but then skips real notes. Glad I only tried the demo. Don't waste your money on the full version.
Don't waste your time.

This has great potential. I will buy when it stops skipping notes even with the most carefully taken pictures.
It plays the treble and bass clefs separately. That seems basic to me. Great idea. Needs work.
Clever app, despite a few problems with accuracy. A save option would be helpful. Maybe export to MIDI? Photo quality affects accuracy, so make sure you've got a steady hand and plenty of light.
This app manages to detect just a few notes correct. It's really quite useless though. Couldn't even get a simple song correct from my son's beginner music book.
I even don't know how to rate it... Since this app reads flats and sharps as a scores(!) and this way unable to recognise the tonality, not talking about adding extra "notes" in the bars, all that makes it completely useless! I give three stars for the bright idea only and keeping hope for the future improvements.
Great idea but the app is unable to recognise a simple score. It skips most of the notes and only plays a few.
I got excited about being able to instantly hear some sheet music instead of looking it up online, but it only properly played lines of Music when it felt like it. A lot of the time the tail of the single eighth notes were interpreted as s separate note altogether, whole notes weren't recognized, and V7 chords NEVER played. It was pretty cool when it worked, but it isn't worth it to pay.
You can only capture & play one snapshot at a time. However, for the image to be large enough to work can only capture a small portion - maybe 1 or 2 lines - in one snaphot. Need to be able to stitch together or combine these snapshots into a single unit. Good first effort... needs more work before I'd buy.
A case of almost but not quite what I was looking for. The optical music recognition works well but in my experience there are the following niggles that prevent me from buying the full version. 1. The tune produced sounds like a plain midi file with no notice taken of the sharps sitting on the stave at the start of the piece of music. 2. Once decoded, there is no option to save the output for playback again at a future point.
This even deserve one star. It is extremely poor and cannot read music at all
Just installed it, it says trial expired.

Absolutely terrible. It is impossible to scan a whole page at a time because when you try to fit the whole page in the frame it just tells you to "move closer." When you can get it to process, the accuracy is MAYBE 40%. Oh well, don't waste your time.
