SureVideo Kiosk Video Looper

I have just got my video installed and am very happy. I am not technical and had a few challenges at first but I used the live chat option on the website and they were just brilliant, it is now playing my video non stop. Couldn't be easier when I followed the directions on the link the tech support sent me. get this app!

Very happy. There are some nuances to the setup which take some time but I suspect anyone using this is not a novice user and should easily be able to figure it out.

Very Good for single screen digital signage solution. Very much user friendly means just plug n play with simple copy paste methods. Had lots features in paid versions with reasonable price compare to other digital signage products. Can run 24/7 as we wish without hazard.

The Team at 42Gears never fail to impress. The products they produce are exceptional and there customer service is second to none. Keep up the great work!

User Friendly app and Superb Customer Service!

Great video player software. works perfectly for me. i was looking for an automatically starting video player for android to present image videos. i bought an 60 euro android mini-pc with hdmi interface, installed surevideo and it rocked immediately! some minor activation issues due to my lack of paying attention to what is written. btw. great support, even at the weekends!

Works great, does all I required from it and More!!! Really excellent support staff too, ready online to chat about any difficulties, and to help you out so FAST. Love it.

Very difficult to use and understand

A perfect video kiosk app. Great solution for locking down a device to play videos. Does not allow the viewer to stop or tamper with device settings. Many options to show media controls or not, disable the volume buttons, custom watermarks, wifi settings, suppress power button, disable status bar and much more. The 42Gears staff is extremely helpful and answers back right away. Top notch support for a top notch app.

I get better service and much cheaper at DMV! Does not remove the stupid "trial version" watermark. I am not buying anything that puts a watermark on the video. Had to redownload from Drive because it was ruined. DO NOT INSTALL.

This is the best video kiosk app I've found. It is full-featured and customizable via HTML/CSS home screens. It does a good job of keeping the tablet secure, I was not able to defeat the password protection despite trying lots of things. Good support by phone and email. Both very fast and helpful.

Not just the application, our experience working with the whole team was impressive. Look forward for a long journey together!

I am big on service.Its one thing to have a great product, but if support and service are missing it easily becomes an overall poor product. Surevideo does everything we require it to and the process has been quite fluent. I like it and I like their support

Where do I start? I loaded the app and it complained it couldn't find any files, not telling me where to put them. I discovered a new folder and copied a few photos into it. Now it started displaying error messages that it was unable to display the photos. I guess it only does video. I wanted to password protect the tablet in kiosk mode. As soon as I enabled this setting, the tablet immediately set a password for the tablet different than the default password and exit to the lockscreen. After I figured out the new password, it would let me in for less than a second then re-lock back to the lock screen. I could not get back into the tablet. I tried rebooting. That worked. I went to uninstall the app but the uninstall button is disabled. The only way to uninstall the app is to run the app and I would get back into the same hell loop that I was previously in. I tried to disable it through the app by clicking on settings, but it laughed at me and told me that clicking on the settings button was not the way to get into the settings. I was able to get into the settings only after deleting the photos from its folder, which it apparently could not read. (1 hour later...

Whoever made this really is a lazy idiot. You have to manually paste the video files into the folder to repeat them. Even then, the second you do the app immediately fires without even being started... Save yourself. Don't download this garbage.

This app is riddled with bugs and malware. No video on my device would play once I installed app. Kept saying unable to play while in call. These people are criminals!!! DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!

We were using one of 42Gears other products SureLock to create a kiosk to run our app when it was decided that we wanted the kiosk to play an advertisement video when the kiosk was idle. I was able to get the functionality that we needed with a free app, but later found that the power was going to be shut off overnight and the original configuration resulted in the battery draining. 42Gears gave me a different APK for SureVideo that allowed for the tablet to go to sleep when the power was shut off and kept the tablet alive for days without power. SureVideo works as expected and allowed our kiosk to function as we wanted it.

Working like charm. Does all what was expected. Autostart is not that well, keeps crashing after reboot.

Only 2 stars for not having the ability to play subfolders. Will rate 5 stars after this feature will be included.

This new release no longer creates the "SureVideo" folder on the SD drive.

this app is just what i was looking for, very powerful and perfect for the purpose. only problem is the watermark - which requires a licence to come off :(
