I Loved this app until it wasn't free anymore. I don't mind paying, but not paying through Play Store makes me nervous. Even more, I emailed to get pricing and I received a canned email saying they needed more information from me before giving me a monthly price. I replied with the information, but never got a response on pricing.
All of a sudden it was taken off by saying trial expired. I installed in when going abroad and now I am here without it working... worst service ever. Definitely wont trust any apps from this developer anymore.
J étais un fan mais la payant sans pouvoir payer via Google store c'est nul. Liked this app but now it's no more free and can't even pay it through playstore... Will Uninstall it.... Too bad
Email developer for pricing? Sounds like a scam to me. Keep the transaction in the play store!
Can't get reply to texts working from 2nd phone. Support won't help unless paying monthly for app. No directions on website either. To me, does not work as advertised.
Was a great app and I don't mind it switching from free to pay but having to email the dev to discuss pricing is so much two decades ago.
Was great until out of the blue it wanted me to pay for use, been using it for over three years now and a no notice message wanting me to pay.
Since when was there a trial? Was never informed of this. Want me to pay through email too??
It said it was free then wanted money and stopped working half the time
This app worked okay , but out of the blue I received an email that it is no longer free. I go to the play store to buy it, but I can't. They want me to contact them. Something is not right here.
I became to rely on this app a lot. Now out of nowhere, it is no longer free. And no easy way to pay either. Developer should have given a warning.
I have no problem paying. But through email? And charging those who downloaded when it was free? I'd totally pay, but not like that.
I would happily pay for this app. I really came to depend on it and loved the functionality. There's no way I'm going to subscribe through some shady email.
Send us an email for pricing..? Sounds like a scam.
Not free any more. Can't buy it through the play store.
Don't install after the new update this app sends the single message over 100 times to the next phone. Update isn't worth it.
Was free and for no reason isnt anymore, why not charge future users instead of everyone including legacy users?
Was perfect until the crazy monthly fee was imposed. And it's private, not through Google store..
Not free anymore, shady!
It is fantastic app
been using it 4 years and NOW my "trial period" expires???
Perfect solution for managing my 2nd work cell with my personal cell
Shady practices
AWESOME!!
Good app
I find it ironic that the second review actually shows the developer's response stating not to worry, the app will always be free... well, not anymore huh? Uninstalling after having used it for 4+ years.
Quit working
Decided to revisit this app after learning that Google is dropping Hangouts support for carrier SMS on 22 May, 2017. Even though this app hasn't been updated recently, it works like a charm on Nougat 7.1.1! I'm using it to forward texts to/from my AT&T # to my Google Voice # (on the same phone). As I understand it, Hangouts IM and GV text will continue to be supported in Hangouts. Developer: Do yourself a favor and update the screen shots in Play Store!
I love this app. When I'm a work, I don't want to sit there and text people all the time, so when I get a text, it comes up in my desktop email client, and I can respond from right there, with a full keyboard, etc, plus I have a record of the conversation in case I need it some day. Love, love, love this app. Update: I was not happy the way this app went from free to paid. I don't mind paying, but I do mind when I get no notification and the app suddenly stops working because my "trial" period suddenly "ended". I removed the app from my phone, and I miss it, but I don't like the way the conversion from free to paid went - if the developer is so inept on this, what other foibles does the developer have?
Does what it says, except receive notification of phone calls as they happen but that's ok with me since I won't be able to answer the phone anyway with my intended use of this app. I also had trouble using email to reply to the text but then considering it is directed through an email of theirs it may not be very private. Good job anyways, thanks.
The app works great at forwarding sms from my phone to my Gear S2 (which has it's own #). I leave my phone at home now and can see texts. Decide if they are important and respond if need be. But, otherwise can live more disconnected and in analog. Love it! Thank you!!
This is the only app that could show incoming and outgoing SMS, MMS messages, and phone calls within my email inbox, and show who was contacted. This is valuable information to track my time. That's why I was sad when on July 7, 2017 the developer of PhoneLeash announced the free version would no longer be available on the Play Store and existing installations of PhoneLeash would stop working after July 31, 2017. I immediately searched for alternative apps and found there weren't any. I emailed the developer saying I am willing to pay for a non-free version of PhoneLeash. I am relieved to hear that, as of mid-July 2017, such a subscription version is likely to be made available soon. I am looking forward to continuing to use PhoneLeash.
7/5/17: Developer sent email indicating that the free version of Phoneleash will be ended on 7/31/17 and that they will focus on "a small group of business customers only." "Existing installations of Phoneleash will stop working as well" on 7/31. It was good while it lasted. I'll miss it. I would have enve paid for it. Demoting it only because it's going to be useless to me in its future, inaccessible form.
This app never worked properly. I would have to continuously keep going back to the phone and reactivate the app. I wouldn't get messages and people would tell me they sent a text. I would go back and check and sure enough the app had turned itself off after a day. Now they want me to pay for this terrible app. Not going to happen.
Absolutely a-m-a-z-i-n-g & easily one of the best apps of all time, sounds crazy but it's true.Works perfectly, lightning fast.Pretty much the only app of its kind,it even allows u to check voicemail, battery status.Makes a gr8 security app like an applock, can use as part of sim change alert app.If I could suggest tho can u give options to only work on Wifi/3G etc? Please always keep it free won't you?-if u don't I will cry.
App does what it says it will do and is very convenient. My only issue now is a day later it just continually resends old messages and notifications. And keeps crashing on my note 4. (I'm forwarding from Note 4 -> S7 Edge.) I really hope some bugs get worked out
I downloaded this app because I got a new phone & only wanted my old phone to make outgoing calls. While it worked, when I wanted my old phone to be able to receive calls again, all incoming calls to my old phone are still being forwarded to my new phone. I've unchecked the boxes, reset the phone, uninstalled the app, reinstalled it & set it to a different number and nothing. All calls to my old phone are still being forwarded to the new one. Not being able to undo the service really sucks. Poor job guys!!!
It works, but sends two emails for every text, and they're now on a yukky orange background. Setup on a small screen is also painful because they've updated the UI from the screenshots above (for the better, I suspect, on a larger device) to one which overlaps all the options. I will be looking for a replacement unless updates can srt these faults out.
This seems to work well for my ring plus phone, but only records SMS from my Republic Wireless phone. I was hoping to try another service, turn this on, and not have to tell friends to text my on a different number. Perhaps it has something to do with RW's VoIP settings/usage?

Was a 5 star app with no indication anywhere that it was a "trial." Received an email saying my trial was over and to email them to find out about purchasing. E-mail you? No. This trial nonsense is shady as heck, especially when the developer intimates below that the app was free and would remain free. I would gladly pay for the full version if I could do it directly from google play, but no, I'm not emailing you to work out payment details for an app; it's not 1998.
