Laundry - GE Appliances

The app keeps saying there is an update for my appliance, press accept, and says the update was successful. It's doing this over and over again and not letting me proceed. I have built in wifi in my washer/dryer and yet I have no remote control features. Very disappointed.

Two issues, Amazon Dash keeps crashing with my washer when I go to my account. Second, dryer keeps asking for an update. Please fix!

The app has no way to disable notifications, i dont care that clothes have been in the washer or dryer for over 30 minutes. Let me turn off push notifications

Would be nice to have the washer and dryer display panel replicated on the phone. This would provide more needed detail. I.e. washer out-of-balance condition.

Just want to register my dryer, I don't want connect my dryer to my wifi.

Paid $100 for WiFi modules to basically get alerts when my laundry was done. Can't control anything which makes it kind of pointless. Hopefully they change that in a future software update.

This latest update was great! Added interesting insights into Washer & Dryer usage. Great job.

Silent notifications = worthless. With the latest update, the notifications are silent and there is no setting to change this. Without any notification sounds the app is basically worthless for my purposes.

The notifications are great and work all of the time. That's not the issue. The major issue is that the app keeps getting stuck on the opening screen. This means I can't view the status of the loads. Very annoying.

Notifications always seem to work, which is the most important thing. But when I want to check status, more often than not the app just hangs on the opening screen.

I have multiple GE connected appliances and this app seems to be the only one with problems. I keep having issues with the appliances staying put in the app. The dryer seems to stay, but the washer removes itself. I constantly get appliance updates, but they won't take.

Only can receive notifications some times. No other functions to extend time, turn off, monitor time remaining or any options for either washer or dryer.

App has nice features, but you can't really control anything with it as it's more of a monitor, which is a missed opportunity. It also won't stay running on my Galaxy S6 Edge. Every time I have the machines going and check the app, there are blanks for all values in the app. This also causes end-cycle notifications to fail. I have to force close app to restore functionality. Have reinstalled and still no fix.

This app is excellent!!! I also have a smart watch and I get notified on it when the washer or dryer is finishing up. My wife also has the app on her smartphone and gets notified as well. I end up getting notified even at work! Note: Do NOT network connect the devices together as this will cause problems. Instead use WiFi Connect for both the washer and dryer and they will still be able to communicate. Updating rating after speaking with support.

The app is informative and provides useful insight as to when the laundry is to be complete, when wet clothes have set more than 30 minutes, etc. I found it nearly impossible to connect the internet module to my WiFi using Lollypop. When I tried it in FroYo no problem.
