You have to create and account to use it I just wanted to see if it would work for a window unit

I previously used the gespring app for my hot water heater and stated the limitation that it did show the actual water temp in addition to the set temp. A developer on that app replied and said to try this version. This app does not solve this limitation either.

The negative reviews all sound like user error. I've been using this app with my AC units (I own three - one for each room) for a few months now. I am able to access all of my devices both remotely and my local network. I am able to set a schedule for each device and change the temperature to my liking. Every feature works fine. Each device paired on the first try. Note to users have basic issues: this a network enabled device, if you are having issues, first start by making sure your router isn't some old dinosaur. You can't except a 10 year old a router to handle today's technology. If you are having trouble accessing your device remotely, go look at your router's firewall settings.

I love this app. really its what I was looking for I can start my air conditioner from anywhere yes sometimes it losses the connection and it took me almost a week to pair but yeah Im happy with it thanks

Everytime I try the use this app it's offline. Don't waste your money.

Great AC and wifi app. I have no problem using it on 3g or LTE.

Still can't get it to work with my geospring after multiple attempts and various tweaks. Really shouldn't be this difficult. Now I'm stuck with this worthless GE connector. Awesome!

I bought a GE air conditioner because of the WiFi capabilities yet it seems that the moment you're not on the same wireless network as the appliance, you can longer control it (the app states the appliance is OFFLINE, which it is not because I've confirmed the appliance, home router and WiFI are still function at those times). So the point of the app is to be a glorified, in home remote control? If it's WiFI connected, I should be able to access all the units functions from anywhere on the globe where I have an internet connection. Can you please update the app to facilitate this? Countless IoT appliances already do this so there isn't much R+D to do.

I bought this specific air conditioner because it had wifi capabilities. Downloaded the app spent the 10 minutes setting it up.. Except as soon as its done the app crashes then crashes on restart then requires you to set it up again i did this three times. Same results.. Ridiculous! And a complete waste of money on the unit. Oh and there is no timer sooo without the app again a useless unit

GE A/C happen to be the most horrible appliance ever to begin with. 12 btu works like 2. Paid almost 500 $ for nothing. Wifi crashes! Oops, try again. Oops, try later. Oops, not in range. Will Complain to consumers relationships. I hope the money you ripped me off with will pay for your medications. A..holes. DO NOT BUY GE EVER!!! Customer service for GE troubleshooting is awful, no live reps, only automated svc, which only tells you how to purchase more GE crap. I hope this review helps.
