WHAT IS BRAINWAVE ENTRAINMENT?
Brainwave Entrainment is any procedure that causes our brainwave frequencies to synchronize with a periodic stimulus. In the case of waveen~ it is all about sound stimuli by isochronic beats influx on the corresponding frequency to get the intended brain-state. For example, to induce excitement, relaxation, trance, healing, sleep and more.
WHAT ARE ISOCHRONIC AND BINAURAL BEATS?
Isochronic tones are regular beats of a single tone that are used alongside monaural beats and binaural beats in brainwave entrainment. At its simplest level, an isochronic tone is a sound that is being turned on and off rapidly. They create sharp, distinctive pulses.
Your brain has the ability to synchronize its activity frequencies from external sources of sound frequencies. So is now on you to choose which frequencies to hear to get your brain running that frequency.

1) Try to get rid of as much stress as you can. The best way to do this is by using a relaxation technique to calm yourself down. Deep breathing, meditation and yoga are all great ways to relieve stress and induce a state of relaxed awareness.
2) Make sure the speakers (or headphones) are set at a reasonable volume - if they're too low your brain won't be able to entrain itself, but if they're too loud the session could give you a headache, hurt your ears and cause other unpleasant effects.
3) If you're using headphones, make sure the wire is long enough to reach wherever you are going to stay for the duration of the tone. This only applies if you're using a computer or another non-portable device to listen.
4) Set up a comfortable place to listen - if you are looking to close your eyes and float away from your stress, try sitting on a soft, comfortable couch or lying down in bed. If you are using a tone that entrain the brain to a more active frequency, you don't need to close your eyes or lay down anywhere.

This will use a tremendous amount of data if you are not on WIFI. For some reason, this application bypasses Googles app permissions. In 3 nights I used over half of my 1GB limit. Read the description fully and carefully. It streams the content which is in .wav format, known to have huge file sizes. It will not store streamed content on your phone which will have negative and costly consequences.

It is very data hungry. If we could download the favourites onto the phone it would be more stable. The tones themselves are very effective, which is why it makes me sad when they struggle to load because of network...

Wonderful app, has worked brilliantly since I got it, but today it suddenly stopped working. No tones / categories of tones show up at all, just a blank page. Please can you fix this. The only thing that is a tad irritating is the music upon opening the app. Otherwise, absolutely brilliant before today.

This is one of the few apps that actually works. Maybe it is a placebo effect, but hey, it works for me. I only wish that you can download the tracks you want so it can be listen in a no internet environment.

Love the app just hate the loading of a stream lag. Way to slow to load a stream (even on strong wifi), *the app description teases an upcoming offline mode, if implemented and assuming it works, my 3 stars so be 4!

This app is good but it could could use some improvements like a loop feature, offline access(which i especially need since ive been trying to lucid dream and everytime i get comfortable and im about to fall asleep the track stops which shakes me out of my sleep) and longer tracks and in my case the lucid dreaming tones.

Worked yesterday till last update. Now it want open any categories, and it lost all my favorites. Please fix and I will change my review. Update on my review. Works great now. I use it to help with tinnitus and to cover up my husband snoring the when I'm trying to go to sleep.

Just when you start to relax or fall asleep it stops and snaps you awake or out of meditative state, the sessions need to beable to be set manually or a repeat function is needed. Also the fact that you need wifi or cell active is a huge draw back at night, why cant we use this offline?

Everything about this app is good except the annoying crap music that plays every time I open it. Useless and disruptive. Also, why not just have the presets download locally and permanently instead of streaming every time? I don't see the point of wasting data to replay the same preset nightly.
