Can be clunky but does the job.

R70%

The "flashing" ads make this app painful to read. I'm done with it! Good by.

R70%
by R####:

App crashes occasionally. Doesn't display pics sometimes. But its okay in general.

R70%
by R####:

I've been away for 25 years and I'm impressed at where the hobby has gone. Innovation and camaraderie is alive and well! Check out this app to see how much :-)

B70%
by B####:

This app could use a bit more polishing, search functions are obtuse and numerous times after typing a response something turns out, I get a login error and my masterfully crafted answer is gone.

R70%
by R####:

Love this place. If you need to know anything about homebrew, you can learn it here. I do wish it had more intuitive search functionality for forum posts. But aside from that, the site translates well on this app

E70%
by E####:

Nice to get quick access to the forum when your on mobile, but desktop experience is much better. Does the job though.

R70%
by R####:

I really like this app, and the community is even better! Lots of good people with varying levels of experience. There are forums for everything from making soda to brewing high gravity beer, and everything in between!

R70%
by R####:

Title says it all. One of the few forums that has users who dont bag out can/kit brewers. Got loads of great advice and recipes from this app

N70%
by N####:

When i try to open links from websearches i get an error message.

C70%
by C####:

The only problem is if I go to a different app or call the app starts from beginning

R70%
by R####:

Addicted to the forums so this was a must but wish it was through tapatalk instead.

E70%
by E####:

Excellent for brew problem Q&A, delicious recipes, really cool homebrew community.

D70%
by D####:

I'd be nice to do a 'like' from the app. Sometimes going to 'message' will lock up app. Random errors like "cant post a picture unless you log in" occur. Even though I just posted a picture on another thread.

R70%
by R####:

I love being able to access all of the content this app contains. However, I have to restart it constantly. The main problem I have is selecting a thread and it takes me to the last page or end without being able to navigate back. Once I restart, problem solved until it does it again. Galaxy S5

Can't get the thing to work consistently with Android. Just keeps "connecting to server". Have to uninstall constantly. Just using the mobile site now instead. Too bad.

C70%
by C####:

Search function in app sucks, have to use Google and follow links. Messages doesn't work for me either, have to go to website. Still a nice app to stay connected to a great community, created and managed by volunteers. Slainte!

R70%
by R####:

Was great but now it hardly works. Keep getting permission errors and won't let me look at subbed threads or post to any thread.

R70%
by R####:

The HBT app is been buggy but has gotten worse lately. 1) Starts with NOT staying connected. 2) Requires double posting to make one post. 3) Fails to upload photos. 4) Says I don't have permission to edit. 5) Says I'm not logged in when I am. 6) Pages are missing 7) Skips pages when you go back and forth. Any of you other users having issues with the mobile app? Many of these have popped up lately. 3-7 1 & 2 have been this way for a long time. The pop up says Contact administrator is this persists. How?

R70%
by R####:

Allows for easy conversation with fellow homebrewers. It loses 1 star for design. It's not the best looking interface and it can be a bit confusing at times to navigate.

D70%
by D####:

Why can't this just be accessible from Tapatalk like all the other forums, including the Brazilian version of this site?

Maybe I missed it, but it would be good to be able to tag/bookmark or save my favorite threads.

Does what it is supose to do. What else can you ask for.

D70%

It's a great group if people and an even easier way to access these forums!

A ton of helpful and insightful information for the homebrew "ROOKIE"(less than 20 batches). I've gradually made the upgrade from extract to biab to AG. With 90% of the information coming from brewers within HBT.

Great app. Lots of great info.

Even if you use this just for the recipes its worth it. Then comes the community support and knowledge. My goto for any question I may have. Keep up the good work guys.

This is a great site. I am new to brewing and find myself looking through recipes trying to find the next challenge.

This app isn't bad for mobile access to the HBT forum's but it doesn't feel full featured. Notifications seem sporadic. In fact, I'd think there were no notifications accept I get them on occasion for some things. Maybe I have some other setting checked somewhere or something.

D70%
by D####:

I've used the mobile app for about 6 months now and while it doesn't have the ease of use as the desktop site does it works fairly well. I've never been able to figure out the search feature, some times it works and other times it doesn't find anything. But overall a good app for browsing and keeping up with subscribed threads.

Great way to find new recipes and tips for solving brewing problems.
