Stoker-web Android App for Android
Only app I found to work with Stoker 2. I had an issue and the developer accessed my stoker remotely to help me out. Amazingly quick turnaround time. As for the app, it's simple UI makes it ridiculously easy to quickly setup a cook and to get alerted for various temperature triggers. Highly recommended!
I've got the original white stoker, and this app connects to it without issue. It doesn't seem to update on it's own at all though, in the background or foreground, so it really doesn't help me at all over using my web browser. I'm using a Nexus 6p. If I can figure out how to get it to auto update, I'll give this 5 stars.
Works brilliantly. The stoker web server setup is pretty involved if you want to get the extra functionality. Would love it if there was a way for this app to graph the cook (without need for the web server). Hats off to the dev though... great communication when I emailed him. Grateful for all his effort given this is the only app that works with my Stoker 2 Wifi.
Paid for the app, it doesn't work at all on a Galaxy Note 5 as others noted
Performs well, just trying to figure out how to connect with stokerweb instead of the base stoker. Missing the 3 dot menu on the galaxy note. For other devices the menu is next to the soft square button (app select). Once fixed the rating will improve.(never mind) just needed to hold the back button to get the menu)

Does not work on Galaxy Note
Very simple way too control you pit from your phone.
I use this app in conjunction with the stokerweb Web server. Very reliable on long smokes
10/29/2014 It works GREAT. I use this all the time for my chef business. The price is right and 5 stars for a very worthwhile app. The program author and I have been emailing back and forth. Gary is TERRIFIC! You can edit all probe parameters by opening one of the probes detail pages and then swiping side to side to scroll to the other devices to make the changes and then save it.
9/6/2014 It works well, other than the ability to set alarms and get faster refreshes of data it is similar to the stoker html program. As others have said some charting graphics would be nice. The price is right and 4 stars for a decent app. 9/8/2014 Tried emailing a log, but nothing other than a message. Saving to One Drive, saved a zip file and the zip file contained a log that appears to be a debugging log. It would be nice to have a log for the cook. Changing the stoker parameters for the pit and food probe can be challenging. Seems to work OK on my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 but not on my Samsung Galaxy tab pro 8.4 where you seem to have to try several times before it saves. It also seems that you must wait until the save successful message appears and it refreshes itself. A nice feature would be to just to have an edit button to edit all cook parameters at the same time and then a save button. 9/10/2014: The program author and I have been emailing back and forth. I've been using this with Stoker Web and it works great. So easy for overnight cooks and to rely on the alarms to let me know if there are any issues. It's also nice to be able to leave the house and still be able to monitor the cook and change temps remotely. Hopefully there will be a version with graphs out soon to use with my tablet.
Would love to see charting features added, other than that this app is perfect
It's a great little program. I do wish it did show a histogram of the temp but it does as designed. Nice work developer.
The app seams very stable. Five stars for being the first and only android app! However, there doesn't seem to be much functionality beyond what is already provided by the stoker's web server accessed through my phone's browser. Having the alarm on the phone is certainly useful though, and I'll be using that feature quite a bit for overnight cooks. I hope the app has graphing in its future; something with lots of functionality similar to stokerlog. UPDATE: One good thing to add might be a drop down menu for the ip address field with stored addresses. That way, I could switch between my wifi and service provider networks without so much typing. You could take it a step further, and have the app detect when the phone is within my home's wifi range and automatically switch ip addresses accordingly. If that's not an option, maybe add some Tasker functionality to provide automatic network transition. My thinking here is that if graphing is added to the app at some point, a connection would need to be maintained.
