This is it. Transparency, horizontal mode would be good. International support (as external addons) and this keyboard will go default. Custom autocompletion (depends on simple switch) would make it killer. But even now its already great, thank you very much! Small bug - settings doesn't open from advanced/language inputs.

Thank you for great app. I have some idea i think it make your app better. You should put the spacebar on the center of the keyboard f or more convenience. more. It is possible to customize the "printf scanf ..." shortcut so that to people can code different languages. it is necessary.

Y70%
by Y####:

The latest version of the keyboard is even more faster and efficient to use with better key switching strategy. Quite fast to update the app. Thanks for the Awesome app developer.

V70%
by V####:

I think you should have kept the positions of alphabets as in Gboard because we are fluent with it. The symbols should have been placed above them.

N70%
by N####:

Dev, I suggest to give us an ability to edit those functions (printf(""), etc...), and ability to input other Unicode characters. Something like "U+" function.

Q70%
by Q####:

No Alt key. Not configurable layout. Please add a working Alt key.

Great alternative to Hacker's keyboard. I find that this one had a better selection of keys available on the original keyboard (requiring you to switch to numbers/symbols much less). However, this has no autocorrect functionality at all, which while normally for coding doesn't always matter a great deal, sometimes putting in strings can be a pain if using a lot of words. Most of the time you will not do serious coding on your phone, you may be attempting to complete homework or edit small things and this is great. I recommend AIDE too as (at least for like $10), it comes with a compiler for Java, C/C++, and others, along with a debugger with breakpoints and error output. There's others, along with code/text editors and many cloud IDEs but on a 5.5 inch phone cloud is hard without a native application. Cloud9 and codenvy are two good options though for cloud based.

Good for coding but where are all the special keys like ESC? Those are vital parts of programming... Update: Developer quickly responded and added ESC. 5 stars!!!

In found some bugs... when I change from another keyboard (gboard to something else, codeboard appears instead. Also can't use Ctrl + any key because keyboard is not pressed anymore when I change to another key. But in rest... Congratulations! you've done one of the best (in my opinion) keyboard for codding and Unix navigation. I was amazed when I saw the scanf and printf functions included and it's only 1,66 mb! Very good job, I really appreciate it. It's nice to see that the developer is active on the project as he responded to my review and others too. I would give it 10

Great keyboard great dev

this is perfect except when typing in touch lua it opens a separate screen and will not show new lines. if this could be fixed and also if buttons went dark whan you pressed them this would be perfect.

I do kinda like the layout. Very cramped but alot of the keys are needed. The big complaint that I have which is the reason for the comment is that when in the browser using my ide it creates a new line like hitting enter at the beginning of the line I'm typing on. Very useless in that case. I use ICEcoder on my own webserver. If you need a demo or any other info to resolve this issue please contact me. Thank you and best of luck with your app.

Permissions: none. would give 5 stars if [1] it could be even larger (like old terminal IDE) otherwise it is usable on a tablet but not on a phone [2] it would be possible to change language of suggested corrections to other languages than english.

I've used hacker's keyboard for a while, mostly for termux/ ssh but I've always wanted a touchscreen-oriented keyboard with the keys I need, now I finally have it. A couple issues, though: there's no visual separation between the keys and no visual feedback when a key is pressed, leading to typos being too easy to make and too hard to catch as they happen. Also, the control key doesn't seem to work in termux or juicessh, so I'll be sticking with hacker's keyboard for now.

Pop up warning..., when i select it... "This input method may be able to collect all the text you type, including personal data like passwords and credit card numbers. It comes from the app CodeBoard. Use this input method?" Any explanation....

So far the best, Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's missing the Tilde(~) key Please consider adding it

H70%

Wow this keyboard makes coding really fast and easy, though i would like the buttons to have a border between them or at least an option to enable it just like Gborad

Y70%
by Y####:

good. BUT! it relly need a bug update fix for the droidedit app. i use droidedit for the most part when im not on a pc and working, and it wold be amaizing to see this keybord working on droidedit!

Y70%
by Y####:

Great app. Please add borders around keys, make popups more visible.

C70%
by C####:

the app is very good and can be switched to other keyboards very easily, though an esc button would be highly appreciated instead of switching to other keyboards just for an esc key

This keyboard makes coding on my phone so much easier! I'd give it a five, but it's missing shift+arrow, which is how I like to select text.

D70%
by D####:

I only recently installed it so I am still getting used to it but over all, it is really good. All round happy.

B70%
by B####:

Ugly arrow keys and ctrl doesn't work in Termux -> nearly misses the point

H70%
by H####:

I Really >Like< It :v. But The Letters Should Each Be In A Box,Seperated To Minimize Typos.

Y70%
by Y####:

decent for coding but the letters need borders and should have visual feedback when typed. And the enter key doesn't work on droidedit.

Y70%
by Y####:

I like that it has all the characters I need to use proper syntax in a command. It has become my go-to keyboard.

Y70%
by Y####:

Top keyboard, but i need ESC key to code with vim... ;( Its posible?

D70%
by D####:

Without ESC key. Need this for Vim in Termux. Ctrl [ does not work either.

Y70%
by Y####:

this is just great. tried many keyboards but this on got it right. thanks a lot ;}

B70%
