NaviGates provides application information for virtually every vehicle cataloged by Gates, which includes passenger cars and light trucks, medium/heavy-duty trucks, buses, refrigeration units, farm tractors, lawn and garden equipment, snowmobiles, ATVs and much more. Now with VIN scanning capabilities, the app is designed to save users both time and money by preventing user error and decreasing how long it takes to look up product information.

So apparently there are two versions of this app. This one and a classic version. This one install with two icons in app drawer. The classic has no update since release and has a few small bugs, so assuming no longer maintained, but does work and with only one icon. no idea how long this version has been out since neither app has mention of the other. Maybe I'm just to picky expecting only one icon AND informed about obsolescence / complete remake of apps I use. Sent email to developers, see what happens.

Love the app and it works perfectly for so many cars. Only downfall is I'm using it here in Australia and there are no AU vehicles and a lot of EU vehicles missing that Gates does make parts for. As for the rest of the app, it quick and very simple to use. VIN decoder rarely works here in AU on vehicles that are listed but thats only a minor issue that doesnt bother me as I'm rarely given VIN details anyway.
