Does not work w/xep win 10 firmware update

The setup was a bit difficult but I got past that. The app seems to work as advertised. Unfortunately, it's more of a trial for the pro version than anything else. The pro version is $30, which to me seems a bit much for an app of this sort. But if others think it's worth the price and they pay it, no harm done.

I would like to upgrade to the pro version so that I can use the additional functionality, but the app crashes every time I start it. I sent an email to the company and after a few weeks I've not received a response. I don't want to spend $29.99 on an unsupported product. I like what the tool does and I could live with the glitches. Without support, I won't go beyond free. Does not work with Android 5.1.

Great app, works well, very useful. developers have done a great job, works both with Insteon and Elk Connects quickly. Great program. very affordable. Easy to set up and use requiring only a couple of items from the ELK. UPDATE: this app no longer works due to a change in Android and it does not appear the developer is going to update the app. If you need an alternative, you can try the M1 Touch Pro. It works fine, but you may need an Elk firmware update

Used to work great, but like everyone else it no longer works. Andriod 5 plus.

This will not work anymore once you upgrade to lollipop. Please fix and I'll buy pro version.

Does not work on newer Android devices. Developer abandoned product and support. M1 Pro is a better product that actually works.

Revised April 13, 2015 Android Lolipop update rolled out last week and now this app will no longer connect to any panels. Since the developer is a genuine "ahole", never responds or supports the app, but he sure took the money. I purchased all the add-ons before the Pro version came out and spent about $50. Today I had to bite the bullet and find another app that works. Do Not install this app even for free. Install the "m1 Touch Pro" by DroidSoft. m1 Touch Pro works great and the developer responds immediately to any communication. I am real disappointed with Gast Studios for his lack of dignity !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. ..........................................................I started with version 1.3 and all was well. Then came an upgrade 1.4, which had bugs in it. Now running 1.41. I do not like the GUI of version 1.4. I requested that Gast Studios roll me back to version 1.3. The developer ignores E-mails and has minimal to NO support. Further more after being sucked in to the teaser of 14.99 and then purchasing 4 add-ins at $10 each, there is now PRO version and he expects me to spend more money. NOT.... I will just wait for another developer that is a bit more appreciative.

Worked great for a while, but now won't connect to the panel on any of my devices.

Loved the simplicity of this app before it broke with the update. Been broken for over a month now and no response from developer. Time to try and find something else that will work with my m1

Upgrade to Lollipop broke the app. Have emailed developers and received no response. A similar app for the Elk had the same issue but the developers released a new version that works with Lollipop.

Worked great until lollipop update

App works good, but support stopped a while ago and it does not support Android 5.0 Lollipop.

I was using the free version OK, but after upgrading to Android 5, it refuses to connect.

Have emailed the developer twice before expressing my discontent for this app. Since I upgraded to Lollipop there is no way to connect to the system and with no support from the developer it is basically worthless. This is the situation where one star is too high of a rating for......

Could not connect. Poor help. No support on developers site. I wasted $15. Should not charge for a beta product.

Using same settings as on similar iPhone app. It's working but mykeypad won't. Disappointed

Don't like the fact that everything is an additional 10.00 for each plugin.

Login doesn't work with XEP 1.2.14, had to upgrade to 1.3.24. Unsecure works with both.

Just get error configuring the panel.

I was looking for a simple app that I could use to arm and disarm my M1 panel. This app works, but there isn't any way to set the panel to "Stay Instant" mode. It also occasionally loses the configuration info.

Just installed ELK M1 at home. M1 toGo on my laptop works great. This Android app connects successfully to the system on secure port 2601. At first, I was unable to ARM/DISARM the system. I contacted the author. The author told me that my "areas" had to be named, not defaulted to "Area 1", etc. I named my area 1 with a real name and now ALL included functions work as they should. If you need thermostat and lighting control and if you need to see the log and schedule tasks, maybe myKeypad Pro would be a better choice for you. Great App.

Data is pulled from the elk, but can never be sent to it, I can never arm the alarm or change the lights, why pay for the pro version if the standard version doesn't work properly

App constantly crashes on my HTC One. Would purchase pro version if it didn't crash.

I can consistently connect and control the elk M1G but the program won't stay in memory, it constantly crashes so this program is not an effective way to monitor the alarm status, at least on the Samsung S3.

Using free version, everything works, except, when using the secured port, it fails every time loading the zone definitions, fix that and would gladly raise rating! Setup is glitchy, there are bugs, many reported in the reviews and no updates ever come out. Hard to justify paying for pro when this does not appear supported any longer

If you know a little bit about networking, or can at least read directions, this app is awesome. I only use it for the basics, but it's very reliable and it's free!

Apps works very well. I installed the Elk-M1 myself and then READ the directions for setting up remote access and got the app to work. REMEMBER you have to name all your keypads, area(s), and zones something OTHER than the default. Once you do this and setup port forwarding it will work. I use a Galaxy Note II running 4.1.2.

In the last month there has been 2 updates! and the temperature readings seem to be working correctly. This is excellent news and now makes this the best Elk M1 app for Androids (Elkdroid seems to have dropped his customers) . There are a few improvements that could be made. I hope the developer is motivated as I will certainly buy the light module (or the pro) if these improvements come along. Want I would really like to see is the ability to define the control of a light as disable or on/off. Now they are all disable and it is not very representative for appliances (such as heater, motor) that need to be turned on or off. Also having the temperature of the keyboard along with the F keys is not intuitive, but at least it is available. maybe having the possibility to put the temp as a favourite would fix as it can now be done with the probe temp in an area

Tried on 2 different phones, and it just stack on Fetching Panel Data:Connecting to Panel. Other similar apps working fine.
