Drive Dog is the watchdog every family needs for driving teens and busy parents. Drive Dog helps reduce distracted driving by giving the parent or user the option to turn off four specific phone functions while driving or simply going into Do Not Disturb (DND) mode. The parent will download the app to their child or user’s phone and select the options desired. The app is password protected so a teen cannot change the options without parental consent. Drive Dog also requests a parents phone number in order to receive text notification if the app is uninstalled or deactivated.

Are you ever driving and you hear a ping alert that you have received a text message or phone call and you just can’t resist the urge to pick up your phone and see who is contacting you? Looking away from the road to pick up your phone can have instant and dangerous consequences. Drive Dog can automatically turn your phone to silent or Do Not Disturb (DND) mode while driving so you are not tempted by an alert. Drive Dog has an incoming text message block option wherein incoming texts are never received. Outgoing text cannot be blocked at this time, but knowing incoming texts are not received lessens “conversational texting” while driving, so there is an incentive to teens not to text.

Drive Dog can shut off internet functions while driving. This option prevents users from texting using Snapchatt or Facebook or similar social media outlets.

Drive Dog can also block incoming and/ or outgoing phone calls. Any incoming call is routed directly to voicemail for later retrieval. Outgoing calls are simply not an option while driving.
This app is also beneficial for employers who have a driving team and are concerned with safer driving, and of course, busy parents with precious cargo, such as their children, in tow.

1.Incoming phone calls – the user cannot receive calls while driving. Calls are routed to voice-mail.

3.Messages – incoming texts are blocked. Note: these texts are never received.
4.Internet - internet connectivity for those social networking apps that are dangerously distracting while driving.

The phone is set to activate these options when the driver is moving faster than 5 mph.
