I had the app for my iPhone and it seemed to work more smoothly. I moved it to my tablet so it was easier to share with the kids. The android app seems slower and it also is constantly alerting me that "chores did not sync." I can't see how chores did not sync, so I am not sure what is going on. I would have rated only 3 stars, but the whole concept with the points for chores works really well for our family.

Please make it easier to add reward coins (the actual coins) on the fly. With the update, you now have to go through several screens to get to that. This is one of the main reasons we have this, because we have a son with autism and his doctor suggested it for immediate positive feedback. It's not nearly as easy now.

Updated the app, now I can't access it because it keeps requiring me to install Android webview, which will not install or enable on my phone. I also added a new account in the family in error and cannot figure out how to delete it and have inquired with customer support and never received an answer back. The watch is fantastic - no problems. But it is useless without the app for my kids. They enjoy seeing their progress in the app and now I can't even access it.

Good app to get the kids motivated. Not a fan of the chore list/rewards. It is more trouble than it is worth. The kids get "coins" when they do chores if I remember to login to the app and mark them as done. Would prefer this function to be redone.

If you won't provide a way to back up data online like every other Garmin device, at least let us save the data through 3rd party apps. This ability is currently blocked. What is the point of tracking steps, sleep etc. for my 3 kids if I'm just going to lose all that history whenever my phone is updated, breaks, gets lost or I just need to do a hard reset for some reason?

I liked this app until the last update. Since the last update we can't use the map, and have 13 moves. I have unpaired the device and then repaired it again. Doesn't help. Sadly I had emailed Garmin a few days ago but they aren't responding and the website is not useful. We loved this app until then. Now my daughter wants to stop using it and find something else.

The adventure bit does not load or work - makes me wonder why i bothered getting it, could've got a different model with more options, but chose the kid friendly one to help motivate. My daughter doesnt get to experience the adventure after working hard to unlock it. To make matters worse you cannot ask anyone for help through the support centre. Nothing is helpful and links dont work to contact expert. Frustrating!

Until two days ago I LOVED this App!! My kids LOVED everything about it. Now it updated and their photos are gone, chore and reward list is stupid and less customizable. Max cash in on reward is 100 points, my kids have 45 points a day they COULD earn, most chores were set to earn 3 coins. 100 points to add a new reward is piddly and stupid, previous rewards suggested ranged from 50 to about 500 points and it felt fair. Its not bring in their sleep or activity properly either. Upgrade ruined a great app.

We like the animal facts. It's not super easy to navigate the app though

Just updated, 2nd time in 2 days. Now it keeps crashing and won't sync. Really getting tired of updating , only to not have it not work.

Wish app offered more control of device. For instance, would be nice if tracker was only a watch during school hours, but still counted steps. Don't want tracker to serve as a distraction during school hours.

Revised my review. The adventure trail works but you will need around 8 moves to unlock 1 animal. Each fun fact is a clue to the animal. The children got disengaged after a few steps since they thought the app is not giving out answers and badge rewards with their efforts to reach the required 60mins

The new update (2.1) stinks. Can't create rewards that require over 100 coins anymore and scrolling through chores last is awful as the slightest side-to-side movement either switches days or causes it to reload at the top of the list. Very annoying. Older version was better.

Edited to add: latest update has rendered the watches pretty mych useless. They wont sync to any of our devices and the app keeps displaying an error. Kids haven't had their coins or missions for a week now. If the app does load (not sync) scrolling and ticking chores in not user friendly. This was dissapointing. I bought Garmin because usually the brand delivers and in theory this watch is a great idea. But the app is buggy and there's room for improvement. Apart from having to manually sync multiple times a day because they don't sync automatically. The coins rarely sync between the app and watch, especially if you're taking them off for rewards. This means that we never know what the right amount it, even after a manual sync. The adventure trail sometimes gives extra turns, and others not enough. It's also annoying that the timers give you a notification when they're set, but not when they end. If i give them 30 min of screen time, I have to then set a countdown on my phone to make sure I know when it is meant to end.

So far so good, kids are really enjoying it

This app was great before the update. Now its useless as my daughter's vivofit will not sync with the app. We have no way of tracking her steps or anything. I'm highly disappointed. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I've also tried unpairing and repairing the device. Please help resolve this and i will be glad to change my rating.

Before the recent update, this app was great. My son has been using the Vivfit Jr for about a year and he would always try hard every day to achieve the 60 minute goal so that he could move along the adventure trail. He was always excited to see what the next section of the trail would look like and loved scrolling along and looking at all the imaginative animations. Unless I'm mistaken, the animated trail has now gone and has been replaced by a static image of a map. Since the change I've noticed a huge drop in his motivation and he's only achieved his goal a handful of times, which is a real shame. I really hope the original trail can be brought back in a future update.

Useless The app doesnt even work everytime i try to sign up it says page cannot be loaded. DO NOT BUY SUCH A RIP OFF AND SCAM.

Love the app and so do the kids. Just the adventure map seems to bug out. My child hit 60mins activity and wasn't given the option to move.

No longer works. Disappointing as it used to be so good. Garmin vivofit Jr is now not fit for purpose due to this app. No support either

Everything was fine until this last update now i cannot get my son's vivofit tp sync and it sucks because he was always so excited

The device itself it great! But it will never sync with the phone so we can never get a clear view of progress! Fix the syncing issue and it wpuld be 5 stars!

I purchased Garmin based on its reputation. This App is so useless it won't even sync the device let alone allow you to use it. The other reviews suggest 'buggy' ...its way beyond that. I've uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. Very poor. Sadly too late now that I've bought the damm thing.

Garmin fix this useless app please. I bought this watch for my daughter and without the app, the watch is not worth the money you charge. Since we bought the watch and downloaded the app, it worked may be twice or three times, each time a real pain to sync. I'm using xiaomi mi max with latest OS update.

Bad upgrade! In fact addition to not liking the design of the new app and it being slower, I lost all my kids'coins with the upgrade and everyone I try to give them more then it resets to zero. Please fix the coin problem!

Was not a great app before but the recent changes make everything I want to do harder (more taps) and slower (spinning pinwheel after every tap). Also there is still no way to export the data.

Why can't you zoom in on the graphs to see a more detailed look at progress during the day? and sometimes difficult to sync

It was working fine before this latest update. One kids corns wont show up.

This app is a waste of money and time. It does not synch. It will not update. I have more than one kid that attempts to use it and none of them work with the app. The fitness tracker does not track bike rides or swimming time. But the worst is that it never synchs. All in all I would suggest buy anything else. Buy a gym membership but do not buy this waste of money thing.

We are not able to use the new trail on the latest automatic updated app version. My child loved seeing a new portion of the old trail each night. He has 12 trail moves he can' t use right now, and he is losing patience. How can we fix this problem?
