Med Minder - Pill Reminder for Android
Used to work. Now it's completely useless.
I love the app and it is really helpful, but I had trouble with the sound settings. I have several Zedge sounds downloaded, and the app doesn't work with them. I contacted the app developer, but a month later, I have no answer to my issue. It's not a deal-breaker, but customer support for an app I paid for would be appreciated.
App works very well for me.
Does not have pop up message alert, doesnt turn screen on when the phone is on standby. Just useless app
Like the app. I'm having the same issue where not every reminder pops up -big problem-and the system notification ringtone overrides the app one. :(
Great for anyone with memory loss or busy people.
I take 13 different meds daily including insulin injections twice a day. Any alarm will work to tell you when to take your pills. My problem was remembering which ones I took or, if I did in fact take any. This app makes it easy to see, as long as you do take them at the time you dismiss the alert. What makes this a 5 star app for me is the developer. When I em'd him about a problem with free version at 10pm, he replied within minutes. He stayed with me till 1am and I was up and running.
Says if you are upgrading you can restore med list from the free version but the file and restore buttons shown in google play are not showing in my paid version so I will have to add them manually.
I've set it all up and apart from the initial reminder, it's never gone off again. Waste of money
I've been using Medminder for 4 years but development stopped in 2012. Without a menu button on the phone there's no way to get into settings for backups. Now I've found MediSafe, and it is more advanced with many new features. It's time to switch.
Works perfectly! !!
A good start...but could be improved. Clean and clear UI, and easy to use, but needs to be able to handle PRN (as needed) medication, and take note of missed doses. The ability to share by E-mail would also be useful, to send reports to your doctor.
You get a reminder but you have no way of checking off a pill you have taken. I wish there were pill graphics similar to pillboxie for the iphone. Could be improved a lot before the app can be described as a complete med minder.
APP need to be fixed for ICS
Pretty nifty! Lets see if I can stay compliant on my medications now!
Used the free app in Gb and loved it. Wrote to the dev after upgrading to ICS and even paid for full version in hope of a quick fix. Still waiting. Downgraded rating due to still no fix!
Two issues. Won't use the alarm sound that I chose just goes back to the default ringtone. Needs a user manual as the refill reminder doesn't seem to
I wish it had a way to check off meds as you take them. Sometimes Ineed to rearrange them a little and then Iose track' also when refills run out.
Ok, people as I've said on other apps. If you have a problem with the app tell the developer. Don't complain here. I think its a good app.
Not what I needed wanted every 3days reminder otherwise ok
I have found this app vary handy & most useful.
Almost perfect. Woulld be great if we could configure doses by amt of time rather than fixed # per day. Ex. Every 2 hrs between start and end time.
What happened to icon after upgrade? Fix icon disappearance & will make 5 stars
Thank you, it was fantastic for my medication regime after sinus and palate surgery.
I upgraded to the paid app because the free version stopped alerting on ICS. The paid version doesn't alert either unless I open it then it alerts me that day. Practically useless. Please fix ASAP.
ok, could do with reminders that only cleared if clicked directly and not when clear button clicked
LOVE this app! I'm on many meds, and this makes it easy. I don't miss doses, and know exactly what I've taken each day. It's a Godsend! DroidX.
Needs to have a printing option, so that a hard copy can be given to the provider.
As my chemo has progressedl my memory has gone and this app has, helped me to ensure I don't miss taking some very time critical drugs. Thanks David.
Please add a medicine length option for like antibiotics. Other than that I love this app.

I like this app but it doesn't like irregular schedules, like a drug taken every 18 hours ... needs multiple dose entries, each for a given day/time. A few suggestions ... 0 dose/day "as needed" drug tracking (useful for giving your physician a list of current meds, no reminder); Allow response to dosing alert to confirm that the dose was taken, or note that the dose was missed; Keep an activity log for personal/physician review.
Wouldbe perfect if 24hr an option as well as a.m and p.m
$ Ok
Love it
I love the app and its been very helpful, however it would be more convenient if the alarm volume was capable of overriding the phone settings. I take midday pills, and still have to set my phone alarm in order to get the reminder.
This app does what it says it will do. It seems very stable. I would rate it higher if was not for features that I need to manage my wifes stage 4 metastatic breast cancer that it does not have. It would be nice to have a count down to let you know when to call in the scripts. Also we use patches that are on for 72 hours. Does not fit into the setup very well. Also, some forms of chemo are two Weeks on and one week off. there is also no good way to manage this. The app does a basic job.
When set together or even at offset times, the app's alarm function overrides the phone's alarms, therefore causing me to not wake up at the proper time! I've set a more gentle reminder sound for the app, versus a harsher sound for the phone's alarms. Please address this issue in a coming update?
The Perfect Answer to Complex Med Schedules User interface is clean and simple to use, even for complex schedules. Can also be used as a general-pupose reminder tool -- for doctor's appointments, time to pick up the kids from school, etc. One addition that would be useful is a "Missing Dose" feature. If you miss a dose or doses, it would be useful to have a function to see what you missed. Developer is extremely polite and responsive. Five Stars and well worth the paid version.
