App has all the features I want, unfortunately the one I got it for, casting the lyrics for the congregation did not work at first The simulated Dual screen worked for about a minute, and then showed me the entire screen mirrored rather than the lyrics, and although it said it was casting to my Chromecast, it did not....nothing...would not connect though other Apps on my Galaxy Tab 4 and my S-8 plus could and did. After reaching out to the developer, he identified and corrected the problem very quickly. This App rocks!! The easiest way bar none to get your lyrics up on the wall when your Church is small....and that's just ONE feature! Changing to 5 stars pronto....

App keeps breaking. I have put a lot of work in songs I have loaded and I am afraid I will lose them.

Love it. I didn't know how to sync it with Google Drive so I initially gave it only 4 stars. The developer, Gareth Evans contacted me right away to tell me how to do it and it works great. I use OpenSong on my PC and I want to be able to see the same songs on my tablet and phone. Thanks to Gareth Evans and this app I now can. Thank you.

It's a great app since Onsong is not available on Android. I recently updated it on My phone abd Tablet and it gives me the same problem. I am unable to import new songs. When I extract new songs it shows me the Info page on how the app works. Also I am unable to transpose to different keys on existing songs. I thought it was just on my Phone but the problem is also on my phone. Please help

I just bought a new acer r11 chromebook thinking that I could finally get opensong to work across all platforms for me, finally. Sorry, I have tried for hours and read so much support documentation that my head is spinning. I bought the "support app" and would gladly donate more to your project if I could get it to work for me. I have used OpenSong (windows) since it's inception (and promoted it) and have always had trouble getting folders and files to sync but now I am at the point of looking for another app,. I tuly hope we can figure it out. thanks respond : can't find user files FOLLOWUP: Great developer. He spent about 2 hours online helping me out. This guy is awsome, not many like him anymore. It was working fine until it did some kind of update and lost all of my songs data base. I am not happy!

All of our worship team has gone to using this app. It works flawlessly and is the best song program out there. Works with bluetooth footswitches as well. ALL MUSICIANS SHOULD BE USING THIS APP... UPDATE... I had issues recently that I blamed on the latest opensong update but turned out that is was my equipment and not this app. Thanks to Gareth's help the problem was found and fixed! I have not met ANYONE who workes with people this well and he does this all on a donation bases for this wonderful app. OPENSONG is the best song app out there and Gareth is the reason why. Thanks again for helping me get my problems found and fixed!!!

I have been using this app for many versions now. It keeps getting better. Gareth has been very quick to respond to issues and feature requests. I like it that much I've paid for it. Keep up the great work mate.

It's not just a complementary software to it's desktop counterpart, but a comprehensive solution for wireless church presentation and worship management.

Fantastic app!!!

Very good app, easy to use with a little practice and very versatile. Uploading songs is straightforward, changing keys and editing song layouts were again simple after a few minutes' experimenting. The various modes look very useful although not fully investigated yet. However, no button is showing to change the theme colours. It would also be good to have more easily accessible contact information for addressing issues of this kind. Overall, however, very impressed.

Without compared to on song apple. This is the best. Even on song has bugs. The latest version I recommend. God bless you Evan. You are a blessing for the worship musicians. Keep it up.

Best app that's out there. I have a request, I am from India and we have different languages and not all the songs are in unicode, so if you can add support to use *.ttf fonts, it would be great.

Very much enjoy this app, it's amazing how many features it has, the only bug I'm noticing is that the metronome panning does not work for me. Other than that this app is very well done and incredibly useful.

I couldn't get this app to what it claims it can do specifically in the performance mode. I simply want it for a digital songook, but couldnt figure out how to get the songs on it. Im not so interested in the other modes since we have a live band. I watched all the tutorials provided & even loaded dropbox like it suggested. I checked out User Guide & FAQs, but still couldnt figure it out. Trust & believe that I wanted it to work. I pride myself on being pretty smart when it comes to figuring these things out, but i just couldnt wrap my head around this one. Im not saying it is a bad app, im just saying i couldnt get my songs on here to make it work for me. I think it needs to be easier to use. I have a Samsung phone & it would work on it. I tried to use it on my ASUS tablet. I tried to load songs using chordie & ultimate guitar & even dropbox, but i never was able to get chords to look load.

I've used Opensong for more than 8 years starting with the PC version. The Android app is absolutely brilliant. No more paper or overhead sync issues. Easy to use and setup song sets. No ads is another big plus. Thank you for all your hard work Gareth. If our memory is not working perfectly when we worship in the new heaven and earth we will revert to this app.

Fantastic app! Could you please make the projecting text wrap so as to make the auto scale bigger in projection mode. Also wonder if you could possibly add layout selections for the copyright info (center, right, left align). Also it would be great to be able to search for songs without shutting down the projection screen. (Search while still displaying last song on the second screen.) Otherwise a really great app! Keep up the good work! Possibly in the future you could create another app based on the projection mode of this one. (An app dedicated to projecting lyrics). Biggest thing for now is just the wrapping text in projection mode.

I like this App a lot, but to be able to really start using it I need to import a large OnSong library from a fellow musician in my band. Unfortunately this App struggles when the OnSong files are in a character encoding that includes a BOM. This results in the addition of strange characters in front of the song title: two diamonds with a questionmark inside). UTF-8 character encoding files are fine. Btw. same problem occurs when importing ChordPro files. Hope you can fix this issue.

Used to use onsong on my wife's iPad. They promised an andriod version for a long time, then I read they will not do a cross over app. I found this app and really love it, besides some different format cause I edit my songs on notepad then copy on to tablet. I recommend this app to anyone .

This is a great app. I’ve been converting a number of my song sheets to ChordPro format on the PC, then syncing to the app. Works great. Took me a little while to figure out the width settings when displaying the song on the tablet, I turned off the auto width, then set the minimum and maximum font sizes and is now perfect for my needs. Question : Do you know if a USB foot pedal e.g. FS1-P USB Single Foot Switch Pedal on Amazon for £8 will work? I would love to use this to turn pages, instead of relying on auto-scroll.
