I like to be informed of weather and the updating news.

Good on breaking news. However interrupts news broadcast and signs out. Very annoying.

I love my hometown news station and the people that bring it. They are awesome!!!

Not sure why this has such high reviews. 1) You get a notification for every story they publish, not just "breaking news". 2) When you get push notification for a story, it always goes to a list of "headlines", not the story you got the notification for. 3) In the list of headlines, you get a photo and a paragraph. When you tap one of the headlines, it pulls up... the same photo and paragraph (!) with a link for the full story. Another tap opens a browser. So when you get a notification, you must tap three times to get to the store. Someone get these guys a UX developer, pronto.

No control over what notifications you get, and you have to open the app to read the fill headline (unlike the iOS app which shows the fill headline). Opening notifications doesn't show any more than the notification itself unles you tap AGAIN to open the full artice. Channel 2 is better for quick news.

Quite useful, and reliable, but having to click on a link, after clicking on the headline, is annoying, as well as a waste of my data, if I'm not on WiFi -please change this aspect of your news delivery.

Great app I love it

I like getting the news so quickly.

This "App" actually only is a thinly disguised shortcut to the internet browser of your device: to follow a breaking news "notification" requires 3 clicks - one on the notification, and then another one on a link which then takes you to the Internet via the device browser. A third click "to read more". To add insult to injury: Never much more information on the Web page than in the original notification. 3 clicks, and then nothing. Waste of time. Oh - and no "live" 11alive! I kept checking "Watch 11alive" and "Breaking News" for weeks, and there never was anything playing there. Not even at official 11alive news hours. Disappointing.

Much better than Channel 2 WSB's app. Better layout of information too.

Wish I could watch all the NBC TV shows here.

Why create an app that will simply redirect us to our browser just to read a news story?? That makes no sense at all!!

I love being kept abreast of what's going on. However, I don't like the automatic feeds of other news items.

too many ads

After months it finally loads, now it is way too full of ads...literally every other story is an ad! And as of last week, when I click on the 'news alerts' tab in my status bar...nothing happens. The alerts don't show up, the ap doesn't load...nothing. They need to fire their ap developers.

Have to dump data and cache every day to keep it from crashing. You should be able to read a news story by clicking it, not downloading another link. Keeps saying No Internet Connection when all other apps work fine. Needs some work. Kit Kat 4.4.

I wish I could post a pic... live streaming video shows on only 1/4 of the screen (less than 1 inch) on my Samsung Galaxy S6, and I can't enlarge it and when I turn the phone sideways the screen won't rotate, even though I have rotation enabled. The pop ups and constant flashing advertisements at the bottom are hugely distracting. IMHO this app is meager at best.
