Every other "news item" is an ad

Using Android Marshmallow with a Motorola on Verizon. When I go from portrait to landscape in the Live news tab the two subtabs do not disappear but leave a white header with all 3 tabs taking up a third of my upper screen. I don't have this problem in portrait mode. Tegna needs to try again! This update's almost hot it right!

Great UI; attractive, well-organized, user-friendly. Mostly a go-to for weather info (your team of forecasters is #1 IMHO!), but appreciate the notifications about breaking news and current affairs. Hooked to the TV crew-- incomparable, totally down-to-earth!--so thought I would try the app, and very happy I did. Thank you, and keep up the fantastic work!

I downloaded this app because the description says that I can bookmark schools to quickly see if they are closed. Not able to do this on the app. I really miss the text updates.

I love this app, it gives me all of the news when I miss the broadcast on TV. It also contains the weather function, so that I can know how to dress for bed before the 11:00 news.

Not thrilled with the the layout, but it gives me the news.

Middle of reading a story, app will shut down and restart over and over and over again. Some stories won't open at all, and restart the app trying to open. Terrible, glitchy app. Going on at least two years of this. Yet we have such few options for news here that I'm forced to keep the app in order to have access to the news I'm interested in. So frustrating. PLEASE hire a different developer and build a functional app! Or at least update this one to where it works.

Channel 3 app

Update works, but you can't AUTO rotate the screen to a larger view when watching a streaming newscast. It forces you to stay in the smaller view. My Streaming newscasts will not go full screen on my LG Transpyre. I Liked the original version better. Hope updates iron out the bugs!

As I look at the news stories, 3 are from yesterday and all the rest were older. Unsatisfactory. Uninstall.

Automatically rotate would be nice.

The app won't let me watch the videos and keep crashing. Fix it already it been like 2 months.

No list of stories from which to choose- not user driven. Forced feed full of ad "stories" while ads constantly flash at the bottom of a small screen so it's very difficult to read what you came to the app for-news. Slower. Constantly processing new ad at top of selected story. Delete

Loaded with sponsored ads wasting time and space. Sorry but fox 8 app wins hands down.

Also, why do I have to go to a website to read the news? Isn't that why your app exists?

Your opponents are normally a lot stronger than you are no matter what ads you do aggravating once in awhile you have a decent even match. The stronger you get the stronger your opponents get you never seem to get ahead

Too many ads that have nothing to do with the news, or anything I'm interested in.
