I enjoy the LSJ app and have been using it for years as a subscriber. It is nice, but also rather annoying in that the same articles show up for weeks or months at a time after I have already read them. If you can't make the app remember what I've read and no longer show it to me, could you at least have the dev. spend 5 minutes sorting the articles by posting date? I spend every day sorting through article headlines searching for anything new. Thanks!

You get the story when you click on it. Regarding notifications, today was a "win" because it notified me in the moment of a fire which affected me. The down side is that I can't load the story (or any others) looking for updates to the situation.

Only wanted to receive actual NEWS as Breaking News notifications. Finally turned off all notifications after receiving a"breaking news" notification that the number of international students enrolled at MSU is down this year but not receiving a notification about the shots fired at Walter Reed which is an actual BREAKING NEWS on the website.
