Excellent app!

I have been mildly surprised by the quality of the app, I do have a suggestion for the account management section. A option to "hold" the paper(vacations) and also an option to pay your subscription or cancel it.

If someone sneezes in Iowa, expect a notification.

I have the app set to only alert to breaking news. Apparently their definition of breaking news means at least 4 alerts every day, and for things that certainly don't require alerts, like high school football games just getting underway. I'll try turning off all alerts, but if this continues, I will uninstall.

No way to manage account. Circular loop screens that lead back to change profile screen. Useless except for reading abbreviated articles with a magnifying glass.

Since today's update it just drops back to the update screen on opening. Similar to an issue with USA Today which hasn't worked since the last two upgrades.

I've thought about subscribing to full coverage for a while, but the prior app was so clunky I didn't. This one is worth it.

Even with a paid subscription you cannot get access to the news information..totally worthless application.

Is there a way on the mobile app to see comments under articles and letters to the editor and two cents worth?

Wish they didn't charge for most of the news. Just try and get by with what is free.

Local News

The Register programmer has decided that readers should always return to the top of the page after reading an article. This is an irritating inconvenience considering that most other sites turn you to the location of the article into. I admit to being a less-than-fluent, senior who does not understand why quotes, bold fonts and some other formatting either show up as 'photo bombing' characters, or do not show up at all. Please explain, so I may read my morning news without these aggravations.

Still another 6 months since last post and not fixed. Emailed and no response too. App won't let me log into read the locked content. Paid subscriber. Tells me to constantly log in. Says I'm logged in but no access.

Up to date and is easier than buying a paper

I am continually being prompted to sign in to read various articles or sections, after I have already successfully signed in.

Using electronic party due to poor delivery of hard copy only to find the register can't consistently deliver electronically either. App routinely stops working.

Crashes every other day. Useless. I give up

This app crashes all the time. It's better to use their mobile website.

Should give us the option to subscribe through the Google play store or too bill it to your cell phone account like you can in other apps and music when buying it from the Google play store.

Crashes constantly. Please fix! - 11/03/14 Update still not working right. Attempted to uninstall and re-install however I am receiving "Package Error" now unable to install at all.

This app locks all the time and the Registers' suggestion is to try and reinstall.why can't you fix the bug?
