Argus Leader for Android
Good for getting the main headline local news, especially when out of town. Call us old-fashioned, but given a choice we prefer print. You never know what interesting tidbit shows up in the secondary articles or the legals.
I would like this app better if I didn't has to reset my password everything I log in. Also it would be nice if I didn't have to log in every time I use the all
The quiz links never work but otherwise it's great.
Love Argus
Typical of papers owned by Gannett :(
Murders
Loved it
Just Starting to get the News!
Loveit
It wasn't always this way, but the app performs very well.
I sign in and every time I go to a different section, it makes me login again. Terrible.
Crashes on a regular basis. Want the news, but the technology here bites.
Update looks awesome, cleared up some old bugs even. Article sorting options would be a nice addition.
Great app, only suggestion is to keep the previous spot in the article list instead of returning to the top after exiting an article.
Argue leader app
This app works well on my Galaxy S3. Sadly, it is not compatible with the Lenovo Ideatab a2109 I just got, even though it has ICS on it! Not sure why that is, I hope it's something that can be fixed...
You've got to be kidding....too many free ones!
Waste of time. Do not install. Not free!
I don't know what everyone else is talking about this app is great. It Tell's me the news weather and sports and has few ad's.

I have tried many different versions. All look good but, all have frozen or failed to refresh the news.
I will NOT tolerate ads in my apps if I'm using a paid subscription to sign in. Also comics section is missing. Are you REALLY even trying? Also seeing high wakelock instances from app. Uninstalling right now.
The app does not work properly on my Kindle. I can get it to come up, but cannot read the whole page at one time and increase the font so it is readable. I have to pick out an article then highlight it to even be able to read it. Then I have to chose to read just the print or graphic (so I can see it as it looks in the paper). I am very disappointed with this app and the way it works. It is not worth the money it costs to read it online.
Crashes ever time on start up. I am delete it
Force closes all the time... Does so on multiple different devices.
The app crashes every time that I find a good story.
Crashes on startup, crashes when I open an article, crashes ALL THE TIME!
Uses too much battery
Crashes all the time when just opening up
Frequent force close issue is very irritating. Tired of it... Uninstalling.

Average app, but annoyingly random "breaking news" alerts from time-to-tome. Wouldn't be so bad if they were actual real and important breaking news, but they aren't.
Had this App for 30 seconds, realized you need to pay for a subscription, then deleted asap. Stupid how i can view the website for free on a computer, how dare i try seeing things for free on the app!
A subscription? Really?
Crap crap crap Subscription? Really Argus.
This app is really pointless. There's a free 7 day trial where you read the stories for free, then you have to buy a subscription to the paper. Ridiculous.
I read the full site on my Thunderbolt daily and aside from half of the article being shaded and the 'you must subscribe' box being a small nuisance, I still have full access including the ability to comment. I have the full site bookmarked so I don't get taken to the mobile site.
I agree with the paid subscription issue from diane. And you can't access celebrations and obituaries, which if you are paying for a subscription you should get.
Ill stick with the keloland app for local news...its free and just as good
