Blood Bowl: My Dugout

Games workshop are one of the most self seeking cash grabbing businesses in existence. They have the audacity to make you purchase supplements on here in addition to already purchasing physical copies. This app is only useful if you have the base set of blood bowl with no supplements. If you want to include anthing besides what comes in the base box you will pay about what you paid for any physical supplements to add them to the app. That is the nature of this company.

I quite like the app. Don't like how you have to pay for everything useful though. What id really like is a way to edit a team from scratch without having to play games to skill up players. Also an in-built skill look up table. Like how its laid out when some one levels up but having it as part of the main menu to have a browse through. This would be really useful, especially for in game checks (allowing you to check all skills not just those of your team).

Such missed potential. I don't want to have to go through all the hassle of tracking a game on it... what if I start using it half way through a tournament? Why can I not just say which players have injuries? Skills? TD's and CAS's? If you update this to allow me to customise completely from the get-go, it'll be worth at least 4 stars.

Can't skill up a team other than by playing games and adding data play by play. Makes it next to useless for me. Doesn't crash, looks nice but functionally missing most of the features players want. Let me play around making teams, trying different skill combos and specs.

Something is broken. I bought the Human Noble pack and both Death Zone manager packs and I've lost the ability to pick star players... I had it briefly and was able to select Zug. But stars no longer visible...Which is really what I wanted in the app. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and I can only select standard players.

The base app is ok. I wanted the Deathzone, but not the book so I bought the rules double pack in app. But now I'm wondering if I have all of Deathzone. I know I don't have all of the base rules. If you're going to pluck rules from a paper book at least check the references - Under throw ins it asks you to refer to page 4 on how to use the template.... not this page 4 though, the paper version which wasn't included. This happens throughout the digital rules.... sort it out gw!

Why can I not edit teams that have not yet played a match?!?!? Why can I not delete teams that have not yet played a match?!?!? Until I have to turn in my roster to the League Commissioner at the start of the season, I am constantly tweaking my team so as to make a better start in the league. Without the two abilities mentioned at the beginning, this app is somewhere between 2-stars and 3 for me at best, but approaching 1-star quickly if y'all do not get your act in gear and fix this app!!!!!!!!!. In other, more in your face, words, this app is cool but nearly USELESS!!! Why do I give it a 3-star rating at this time (1707.01)? The race packs! I love them! Go Slayer Keep teams!! The additional features to try with Blood Bowl given in the race packs makes having the app worth being on your device - barely. FIX THIS APP! PLEASE.

Great for creating teams and keeping track of Team Value. However the in-app purchases are not what they appear, there are no new inducements or extra rules, only brief description of ideas they have. The rulebook bundle simply crashes my app and when it does work you are unable to use search. Very poor app for the price demanded.

This app could be so useful for BB players but instead is frustrating and restrictive. Simply allowing users to edit their team's skills and injuries without having to go through the laborious process of each game turn by turn would increase my rating to 4 stars. Please update this app, pen and paper is easier than this.

Really God app now. But please give us legendary teams like Ogres.... OK I play ogres and want to use this app with them

A nice idea exicuted poorly, the fact that there is no back button in pre / post game options is ridiculous, (if you do hit back it just takes you out of the options and you cant go back to finish off therefore loosing any chance of going back to post match stuff). Also why can I not do the level up stuff and team management between games? If I decide to spend aome of my gold on new players, apothecaries etc it can only done in the post match stuff where I then referre you to my last comment. Utterly stupid. What makes it worse is that thereis a working back button on the ipad version. Also would it be possible to add a function to sync youe account somewhere for if something happens to your device?

Free for one-off games using box set contents only. This is great for new players!.DZTM is all you need for basic league play? and a big chunk of the teams. Id pay 2.99 for the app so having a small portion free is A+. UI could be more forgiving e.g team creation. custom pics would be A*. Rule/supplement books and extra SP cards you can get should have had redemption codes. Don't know if you can use your extra SP cards within app?. Could have bit more polish. Leaugue tables etc? Could be awesome. Recommend the free version & DZTM for league play. Check for star players you need as some are with DZTM & DZS2 but also the race packs?. Can't use bribes etc. with non league teams? . Cannot edit teams once made! unless go through a match etc. How to play freindly with an progressed league team? Biggest problem Needs more user flexibility/affordance!! Edit/Duplicate teams etc. Too unforgiving e.g giving player skills for a friendly is a ballache. manage both teams in play could be good. leaderboards etc ; so app is useful for commissioner. But that would be a cherry on top. Hope this is constructive!! Overall its great but know lots of people who've ended up having difficulties; rostered star players in league team, non league bribes etc.

Could be great but simple things like editing a team are missing. To fire 1 player before any matches are paid you have to delete the team and create from scratch.

When will vampires come on? Will there be an experimental vampire team?

Buying the figures should come with some sort of an unlock code for the app. I know app development costs a small fortune but these figures also cost a small fortune

Needs an update that allows teams to be edited. Needs an update that allows teams to be deleted.

Could be better. Fairly useful in most respects but an increase in customization options, particularly after a team is created would improve the user interface substantially. I like to play around with different combinations before finalizing my options and the current set up makes that very difficult to do. Also having issues with seeing the longer skill explanations because the app won't let me scroll to the bottom of them. I don't normally write reviews but this app could use some significant overhauls.

Had to install on new device but it won't restore my purchased items. Why do I have to pay again....

Not very useful

Get this content over to paper. Multiple packs are stated to include 4 match events each, but slayer hold only includes 3 and pestilent vermin only has 2! No reply from email support either.

Running the same app as my friend but he has the option to edit his player actions and I don't have that. Plus I paid to download the rules. Very poor, and back to paper for me.

Was charged for death zone season one and core rules but didn't want or even approve

After latest update to app lots of issues with team creation. Also bemoan lack of an undo button. The potential is there but the followthrough is highly lacking. This would be better as a pc program.

Its good for a tracker and has lots of potential but the inability to reverse mistakes or quit a match created in error without concession are what makes me rate the App low. And they still didn't fix the issues so I am resubmitting this review.

It's a little clunky from a UI standpoint. Also I play Norse so....I'm out of luck I guess?

Who really think its smart you have to pay sepretly for every singel teams rules?

Death zone 2 still is not available for Android.

Poor implementation

I bumped up my rating because I'm using the app, but the app still need work. It can be better at game tracking (FOR BOTH TEAMS!), and publishable summary report of the final outcome would be nice. Still waiting for the additional teams, please don't force us to pay for the teams of legend, I already payed for the team manager. Also I'm still waiting for some kind of unlock code for rules I already purchased.

Great idea poorly executed I've gone back to using pen and paper as at least you can edit that unlike if you make a mistake midgame with this app. Add some flexibility or even a way to undo an action. Loads of potential missed with this app, also drop the money grabbing I already payed for the rules with your book.

GW scam. Only has basic orc and humans in it unless you start paying loads. Usual lack of clear info. Also you pay for all the current teams, are you going to get others as they are released? Scamming rip off merchants! How about you make a decent, non deceptive product you bunch of hacks.

Far too inflexible. Needs the ability to edit teams and make other adjustments to allow for non standard league play. Shame but don't buy til they upgrade. Also shameless cash grab to get additional teams etc but you expected that didn't you?

The lack of flexibility doesn't bother me too much, but the fatal flaw of this app is that there is absolutely no provision for correcting an error made while tracking a game. Accidentally click on the wrong player for a completion, etc., and there is no way to go back and correct it, other than deleting and remaking the team, and running the tracker up to that point in the game. Not so horrible if it happens during the first game, but is a huge deal if it happens after several games. That one thing is a complete deal killer.

Unwieldy, thought I would at least be able to manually add spp with out having to go through every step of starting a game! Can't do completions, casualties, or interceptions as far as I can tell. Can't add new skills. All i want is a way to record my team after each game double check my numbers and have a back up if I lose my paper sheet. Embarrassing I have to pay for all of this, how about a break? Give us codes for free downloads when we buy your books, it is only photons!

This seems like something of an alpha. I'm actually okay with hiding the teams behind a pay wall - you might not be. But to be unable to edit or delete teams seems crazy. Simple functionalities like this are missing all over the place. I'd really wait before you spend any money here, or hope for a third party app that works similar.

Useful, but needs a lot of work. Too inflexible. Because it always tries to be both roster and game tracker at the same time, it fails at both to some degree. Still, a lot of potential and this new improved GW that cares about its customers might get the job done yet.

Really inflexible and limited app. No good for real use as it's been designed with only one flow in mind. Just letting people edit their teams at will would be a good start.

Useless. Bring a pencil and a roster sheet to your games of Blood Bowl. That is preferable to utilizing this worthless, and un-weildly app.

Need to be able to edit or at least go back one mistake forces you to start it all over again. Kind of pissed that I wasted money on this
