Game Informer

Apparently my subscription I paid for was to read over and over how to use their app, just in case they decide to ever update it so you CAN use. Is that coming in a future, paid DLC like everything else or is this GI's attempt at the waste their time trend?

I was able to log in ONE time and every time after that it I'm not able to get off the how to screen. It's a great concept if you could actually make it work. I'd much rather read my magazines on the app than online! If you fix it my stars will go up!

S7 Edge, go to activate account on website and site claims emails don't match. Finally works, then tried to activate digital subscription and I couldn't type any numbers in. This crap is why I haven't read GI in 2+ years, get your crap together. App only goes to Basic Nav page, can't do anything else

When I downloaded the app, it gave me the current issue with a "free" thing under it as if I didn't have a sub and would normally be expected to buy it. This was confirmed when I got the next issue and it had a "4.99" under it. Before I could try to do something about it, it opened back up to the previous issue and refused to let me leave. The back button closes the app, the options menu(when present) is only a TOC and still no way to close the mag. Every time I open the app, it opens to where it was closed

Magazine doesn't load, can't turn pages or get through the magazine very well. If they don't let me go back to hard copy I will never renew again

One of the worst apps I have ever used. When I loaded it up, it would not activate my account, and now, I can't even get back to it as the menu option never loads, it just stays at the how to navigate screen and the menu bar at the top never loads. Well done! Get your magazines delivered instead of using this horrible app.

New issue stuck at 62.5%, tried to restart app, and now it won't go past "how to" screen. Going to reinstall app, and hope it didn't lose my purchase. Garbage app. *EDIT* Reinstall of app fixed it. DO NOT allow device to sleep, or browse other apps while downloading issue. Seems to cause lockup.

Have some procces that is not convoluted as fuck to activate an email. Also it says email and passwords dont matchlike what the fuck man. I know what my email andpassword is and its really a pain in the ass when it keeps telling me MY email is wrong

App doesn't even work. It won't go past the instruction page. DO NOT DOWNLOAD! Just to make sure you read this comment I'm putting emojis to catch your attention

I've experienced many of the issues others have dealt with. I couldn't get my account logged in and activated. I emailed Game Informer and that was resolved. Now that I am able to download, I'm stuck in one issue with no way to back out or load another issue. I spent the first week of having this app stuck on the How to page and now it's stuck in issue. It's a shame that such a awesome publication has such a terrible app because I am among what seems to be a majority of customers who are unsatisfied.

This app is terrible. Never gets past the login screen. I have not been able to read my subscription for a couple of months now. I used to love game informer now I hate it!

Horrible. The app worked the first time, but after that it won't let me go back to the home screen to choose a different issue!

Clunky, completely unintuitive, and slower than having the actual copy mailed to you. It's only upside is back issue access. For a better read of the magazine, use Google Newsstand to access it.

Stuck on 1 issue, menu never comes up i cant go to any other issue. Once the 1 is open i have to uninstall then reinstall to reach menu

It never works, I can't login or activate my digital subscription...I've tried several times since I got switched to digital(without anyone asking) I give up on GI, too many easier ways to get the same news without the dumb frustration or wasted time

The app crashes often. When you try to download new issues you need to stay in the app otherwise it cancels the download. Love the magazine itself though

Bought the subscription in the store, asked for digital copy, downloaded this, followed directions, signed into account. Simple enough until the app doesn't realize that I've already paid for the magazines and requires me to buy them again. Never again will I buy a magazine or even shop at game stop. This is not the first time I've had issues with them either.

I love the magazine, buy the app is horrible. It crashes all of the time and it's extremely difficult to download issues of the magazine.

Issue downloads take forever, never competed. So I'm unable to read any of them.

This app is incredibly buggy and malfunctioned on multiple pages. Needs to be updated very badly.

What the crap couldn't even load up app just at the how to screen. Maybe just give up on trying to make this work.

How tf am i supposed to read my paid subscription if you jack asses wont even make a simple app work?

I'm subscribed to game informer but it still wants to charge me for each issue even after I log in, I guess I'll just stick with logging in online. I'm uninstalling this app

The app just crashes, never got to even read an issue. Guess I'll get my news from some other source, and my games from amazon while I'm at it.

OMG. The app doesn't work & customer service is horrible. Please don't ask me to renew when my subscription is up. My star comes with a negative sign preceding it.

I would like to use the app. Like everyone else there's no escaping the how to page.

Couldn't get to "My Issues" after reading an issue. Tried everything. Uninstalled the app then installed again. No help with recovering username or password, none. Says you need to rack points to reset password.

Pathetic I've been with gameinformer for years and every once in awhile I'll attempt to install this app and it does not work.

It worked befofe I logged out, now it only takes me to the help screen. Nothing more.

Awesome! This is really cool because I now can read Game Informer on the go, along with app exclusives (like videos and picture galleries), and the magazines are the same.

Once I found out to press and hold for menu (not stated on this page) It works OK

Thankfully I can read my sub on Google's app.
