InkCase Companion

I just received one of these....i thought it was cool until i started to use it. Why were the notifications removed....that is one of the best things about something like this. I got this for free...thank goodness. It looks like this is a dead product...no more updates.

Connects now, but no clue how to link it up to the reader. Still very disappointed. Why don't you release your API so independent developers can make this useful?

It's not elegant, but it works. What more can you ask.

Absolutely disappointing...I had high hopes for this case...and it really doesnt deliver. Im on android 5.0.1. The apps for the case seem cheap and under-serviced. The bluetooth connection regularly fails, the apps dont communicate...the ink screen freezes. This is just to name a few of the problems! I really hope the oaxis team does something to change this...in the meantime my rating stays till they fix this broken series of apps. It seems the inkcase team dont care or have abandonned it. What a waste!

Better but not perfect

The app is fairly pointless, just seems to manage connection to inkcase and offers a few other apps.

The basic apps are not great and far from intuitive, can't get the first eBook reader to load up, and the 2nd doesn't seem to have an English option, hopefully some of the more main stream apps will add support

When I start the app, it changes the volume of the phone! No idea why they thought that would be a good idea. I'm always on silent, but whenever in run this or InkCase Photo it changes the volume. Very annoying. Also loses connection

Can't get a stable connection with Play Store version. Version from dev's site allows connection, but no way to delete items from the Inkcase memory after they are pushed. Inkcase Plus + Sony Xperia Z3, 4.4.4

Unable to use pricey product because nothing else will control it. Unfortunate for Nexus 5 users running Android version 5.0.1, and Build number LRX22C. Attempted install direct from website file, and Play Store. Will revisit once I can actually use the product purchased...

On my HTC One M8 running kitkat, the app crashes continually while trying to connect. It does this In the app as well as in the background via the notifications menu.

Software no work with my phone. Which has latest Android Lolipop. From what I read and tried rest the apps are only any good for pdfs for books. There is no app sat nav. GPRS app does not update inkcase fast enough. Fitcase is useless as make phone overheat and has foam in way so that you cannot turn inkcase so you can see screen when case open.

Tried to install the apk from the website as well as from the Play store, but received multiple errors. Please address. Rooted Nexus 5 stock 5.0.1

Getting "Unknown error code during application install: "-505"" message. Basically renders the InkCase+ useless. Stock Nexus 6 on 5.0.0

App is draining the battery on S5 even when not in use. Uses more battery than the screen. Not worth it.

Works for me, but because of the poor translation to english, most people aren't going to understand the user interface....

Keeps crashing on Note 4 with 4.4.2

How ridiculous. I can't use what is perhaps a good product otherwise (the InkCase+) because this app can't be installed. Very frustrating.

Currently on Nexus 5 and get error 505 like other users. Incredibly disappointed.

No fun at all! Finally I got my Inkcase and now this? The controlling software is not working on Lollypop! And if you try to use it on a 4.0.1 device, but the you can't get notifications to work. Shape up!

I can't rate 0 stars? Can't even install on LP 5.0.2, so obviously it's a problem with the app. Makes the device a nice waste of money. Thanks.

Oneplus running Android L 5.02. 505 error when attempting to install.

It can't install for android 5 lollipop which shows error 505.

Please fix the install error. I can provide a screenshot.

It's disappointing to wait so long for a product and then to receive it and not be able to use it at all.

I tried emailing support, and it bounced. My Inkcase is a brick until I have lollipop support.

I bought the inkcase but the app won't install on my nexus 6. Fail
