IJ - Notes; Contacts and More

IJ is a chat oriented personal information management system (PIMS) application. Think of it as your personal assistant wherein you could tell it anything you want to remember like contact details; important dates; reminders; notes etc and recollect it anywhere anytime. IJ not only remembers all the information but also relates and cross references all the information. So, for e.g., if you have saved 'Sam' in your contacts and subsequently write note to yourself about 'Sam', 'Sam' will appear as hyperlink which you can click to get to the contact details of 'Sam'.

All the information in IJ is divided into topics (categories) and topic details (category details). So, if you want to add contact details of your friend 'Sam', IJ will ask you to create topic: Sam, after creating topic you could add the contact details. Creating topic is as easy as pressing a key.

Every operation in IJ starts with search. So, if you want to add contact details of 'Sam' you would first type 'Sam' and press enter key or click 'Send' button. IJ will will search all your data for 'Sam' and display it. If 'Sam' doesn't exist as a topic, IJ will ask if you want to create 'Sam' topic. You can simply press 'y' key to create 'Sam' topic. Once 'Sam' topic is created, IJ will further ask if you want to add details, at this point you could again press 'y' key and add all the details you want to add to topic 'Sam'. (Enter 'd' when you are done adding details)

IJ android app has following features available through menu options:

1. Sync. Contacts: Users can export contacts/notes from phone to IJ.

2. Backup: Users can take backup of all their data and save it locally on phone. This way, users can still access their information in case network is not available.
