IMPORTANT NOTES
Live Image Widget caches any loaded image for TEN (10) seconds to ensure multi-widget performance and reduce network load. This means that repeatedly pressing the refresh button will only cause a refresh every ten seconds.
To use Live Image Widget outside of your local network you must ensure that the URLs entered are accessible from the Internet (that is 'through' your router / firewall), this can also be a security risk if you do not properly obfuscate your external URLs.
Could use a transparent theme though with no border on it please - would pay for this option
Great widget. Would love to see more options for image update choices... only when screen on, update only when screen turns on. It also looks like you can't customize separate widgets. They all have the same update intervals, etc...
I use this to keep up with the NOAA-POES satellites and it works like a charm. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
No images appear. No widget either just a shortcut. Only opens to show settings options.
It won't load any images and asks me for a URL. I tried a few URLs and none of it worked
does the job. i use it fo weather image updated.
Just as meant to be. It would be nice if users could set auto refresh values instead of picking from a list. For example: i'd like to set it to 1 min. instead of 5 mins (min value)
Junk
It's supposed to be providing images but we have to enter url of image. Frames that are preinstalled do the same thing but no url needed. CCTV is popular in England with cameras on every corner to record activity but how to get url is beyond me.
Would I use http://user:pwd@server/path?
Does not respect "never" as auto-refresh setting - continues to refresh every 30 mins. Also seems to have stability issues without Internet connection. (Android 2.3.3) UPDATE: Actually, it ignores all auto-refresh options, keeps 30 min all the time.
Working flawlessly. A real gem of an app at the time I discovered it as there were lots of apps that didn't work that were higher in the search results (maybe because they were older)

I use it for monitoring ski resort webcams. Works great.
Great app, works exactly as expected, has all the right options to customize.

Looks like it should do exactly what I want but won't accept the URL of the image I'd like displayed. Sometimes says it's not an image (it's a .png) and other times just says "Error: null". Samsung S5 on 5.0.2.
