VePhone Lite - Internet phone

VePhone Lite is used with a real UK Telephone number allocated to you when you sign-up for VePhone at: www.VePhone.net The App. puts a real telephone number onto your phone along with your existing mobile number. You can use VePhone Lite to:-

- Make low cost calls to landlines/mobiles worldwide (from 1p per minute);

- Call Forward all calls to your mobile number or any other landline/mobile worldwide;

- Access free voicemail.

VePhone Lite requires internet access over either 3G/4G or wifi connection.

Making low cost calls:- As VePhone Lite is used with a UK telephone number, you can be physically located in any country in the world and make a call to any landline or mobile number in the UK, or any VePhone number, by simply dialling that number. However, regardless of where you are physically located, if you wish to make a call to a landline/mobile any other country (non-UK) then you must insert the appropriate Country Code for that particular country, just as you would normally do if you were to make a call from a standard landline phone in the UK.

Call Forwarding:- You can be physically located in any country in the world and use VePhone Lite to instantly "Call Forward" all calls from your VePhone to any landline or mobile worldwide, including to your own mobile if you so wish.

Voicemail: Incoming callers can leave messages on your VePhone voicemail which you can freely retrieve from the VePhone Lite app. Other more advanced features, such as Voicemail-to-email, can be set up by you when you sign-in to your account at our website.

On android devices, currently, incoming calls to your VePhone Lite will go to your VePhone voicemail where you can use your VePhone Lite app. to freely retrieve any messages. Alternatively, incoming calls will follow whatever Call Forward option you have set, and you would only pay for the forwarded part of the call at the low cost tariff rate (i.e. 1ppm).

VePhone Lite is a useful addition to the PC-based VePhone. The website has information on low cost call tariffs that are grouped into Country Zones for landlines and mobiles; these are fixed prices with no connection charges and start from 1pence per minute (2 cents per minute). All VePhone Lite outgoing calls are charged according to these tariffs with no connection charges and no roaming charges. When calls are forward from your VePhone to a landline or mobile, then you will only be charged for the cost of calls from your VePhone to that landline or mobile - as is normally the case for any forwarded call from telecom providers.

All VePhone and VePhone Lite users have the ability to sign-in to their online account at our website to action various features such as to add top-up funds in your chosen currency to your account, set up voicemail-to-email, and more.

Examples - Making outgoing calls:

You are physically located in, say, Australia (or, indeed, any country including the UK), and you have a mobile phone that is connected to the internet. To make a call to a United Kingdom landline telephone number (e.g. 0121 650 9876) - then simply dial that number: 01216509876 . The call cost will be 1 pence per minute. There is no need to enter a UK country code.

However, if you then wanted to make an outgoing call to, say, a landline number in France (e.g. 02 51 56 03 51), then you would insert the country code and drop the first 'zero' just like making any other international call (e.g. 0033 2 51 56 03 51).

The same applies when setting up your call forward.

Example: Incoming calls

Say you are physically in the USA and your VePhone number is 0330 600 1818, then a caller in the UK calling from their landline or mobile will simply dial that VePhone number (it does not matter where the VePhone user is in the world). However, if the originating caller was, say, also in the USA calling from their USA mobile, then they must insert the country code and dial: 0044 3306001818.
