I signed up, got approved fairly quickly, still don't have a lot of students, but more keep coming every day. The connection and the sound/video are great. Good overall experience. My only problem is the buggy and slow chat interface.

There is a big which, after install, forces you to update. But it doesn't take you to the app store it takes you to a website and downloads a Nicetalk.apk file, which cannot be opened. Steer clear, I sense a huge issue here and a possible breach of security.

I used to make quite a bit of extra cash using this app but recently I don't get any calls. Also the app is super buggy and crashew regularly.

Before, you would be able to make from 150-300 in a week now, if youre lucky you get 1 call of 10-20 mins. The only thing keeping me in this app are two students I have been helping for a while. This is overloaded with professors.

I can no longer connect with the server or talk to students. The support team is COMPLETELY USELESS and unresponsive. Do not waste your time.

I signed up several months ago with video and everything but it just keeps telling me it's awaiting approval. Seriously this needs to be fixed

I had 2 missed calls and my third was A paid learner within the first 60-minutes of approval. Awesome!

Doesn't capture video well, no communication updates on status of application. As others have stated, there are more instructors than students ... #uninstall

I have experience teaching ESL, but I was not hired. Hmm!!! I guess they did not like my photo. Oh, well, when one door closes another opens

I have been on this app for quite a while. The only students I got was a few trying to get free tutoring via text. There is also absolutely no communication from support.

This app is terrible. I have lost two hours trying to open it. Absolute disaster.

No way to reach anyone..have no idea where my application stands...figured it was too good to be true to make extra money

I tried to follow instructions to register but it kept asking me to add picture which wouldn't work. I'd like to explore this company but...also I tried to check the website but can't find log in just to register which won't work because it tells me I am already registered hence back to log in which I couldn't find. Will leave things for now. Can't use my expertise where I can't get into.

Please fix the app! I still can't send the video for approval. When I press 'record' nothing happens. Uninstalling didn't help. It's so annoying.

Had high hopes for this but it forces users to install another "update" off the play store. :( It's totally unusable!

It keeps saying photo uploading failed. I uninstalled twice and I keep getting same message

I can't even select the languages I speak to go on to the next step. Waste of time.

I can't record my video to send in for approval. I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled it and still does not allow me to record a video.

I created an account but it fails to login continuously.

Trying to record my video as apart of the procedure to get approved. Video doesn't record any at all. I have uninstalled the app and still nothing.

Message history should be automatically saved on a server and restored after reinstalling the app cause the way it is now tutors lose all chats with the students they had.

I applied and will be waiting to see how i get by. Its an awesome opportunity for anyone who wants to help and make some money in the process. However, they pretend to hire worldwide but i am yet to see any of that. Other races are well versed to teach but they will never get a platform. Don't bother if you are not in certain countries of preference

Waited over a week, only to get denied my phone kept telling me the app was intrusive and dangerous, bit I ignored that cuz I thought it would be a fun and easy side job, but really isn't worth it. There must be a better app out there...

I put two application videos on here and they we're both denied. No one e-mailed me back nor told me what I did wrong. Each time I applied it took ten days to get denied. Both times!!! I downloaded palfish which is almost the same thing but by different people. And I got accepted within one minute!!!! I will not try again with nicetalk. Everyone go to palfish. They actually answer your questions and are super nice! Hopefully this helps

I was researching, and this appears to be a wonderful opportunity. However, I was stuck at the video portion and have no way to contact the company to inform them of the issue. I found that once I reinstalled the app, it started working.

It is a developing app and workplace so I have understandig for occassional bugs, but lately I haven't seen any of them!! Everything is great, I love my students and the flexible worktimes. Would recommend it to anyone!!
