Easton Bible Dictionary

Nothing worse than a dictionary app you have to have a degree in computer science to figure out. This app has a user friendly interface and covers most of the Biblical terms I have looked up in my Bible study.

As one that has come to Christ late in life, I need applications like this as there is so much information in the bible. It could very well have been to much for me to learn at this time, I ask so many questions that I could easily take up to much time of those that wish to help me but find out that it could become a full time job for them to answer my questions. Now I have the means to get answers myself.

It could be more in depth, some words that I needed the definition for were not in this copy. However it has words I never heard before either and for those I thank you. God bless.

I taught in seminary. Used this dictionary while a student and continue to do so often. A excellent resource for all believers. Clear and easily understandable, yet faithful to the original languages.

Easton dictionary is one of the simpler Bible dictionaries. Good for its purpose but lacking in depth.

Lots of good information. Just would like some help in the use of the app. Search I understand, but all the other icons at the bottom, need help. Thanks for all the info.

Nice dictionary to study God's word deeply

Could not find a definition for just works. That is not the only time I have looked for something and not been able to find it.

Nice Bible app, would definitely recommend it to others. The ability to copy and paste would make it more useful.

i am still trying to discover all that it has to offer. in any case, i am to get most of the answers i need even though the scope is not broad as i hoped

I love hearing the pronunciation of some difficult names in the Bible... very handy to have.

In gose into depth about the personilty of the people of the Bible. And explained the words easier. Great companion

Very helpful simple and very informative. Only thing is if there was a option of cut, copy, paste or to save the search results it would have been excellent.

I've uninstalled this app three times. I click on the word, but it doesn't appear. Now it won't allow me to type a word to look up.

This app did not work I put in Proclamation and I got a blank screen

Some of the pronunciations were incorrect. Also, the name Sam always means the same thing, whether in Samuel, or Samson. The correct meaning of Sam is "NAME OF", meaning "representing", as in "in the NAME OF". In Samuel it refers not to God hearing, but to what Hannah agreed if He would. That is his dedication to God. Samuel means "in the NAME OF GOD", as he was a representative of God in His temple. Samson means "in the NAME OF the SON", as he was a judge, just as Christ, the Son, is our Judge. 4.5 *

Very inspiring application. I always loved Easton dictionary and have used it for long on my windows systems within E-sword. Now it's better improved to me with the pronunciation bit. Keep it up. I will improve on my rating when I have used it more.

I really appreciate the work done in developing this application. It gives me all that I need to know.
