Bogus lock. The app is not working. Parring is not possible. Don't get cheated. I don't know why reputed company like Amazon is selling it. I will be putting a complain through and if Amazon not refunding then I promise I will never shop through them.

I only own one lock and dont really have trouble with it. It does mess up sometimes but closing the app and restarting fixes it. If it had NO problems id give the app 4 stars. Interface needs work.

Simple solution but does not work.... Just the manual method works 9 times out of ten. I see that the BT discover mode simple crashing time to time. Fix it to be able to use the lock with phone.... Now it is just a very exotic toy What was very expensive....

You have to be in the app for the lock to work. If you exit be prepared to reset your Bluetooth and go back in the app. Nothing like all the YouTube reviews and commercials. NOT RELIABLE!

Terrible. My 'smart' lock is expected to play with a 'dumb' app. Took many, many attempts to pair the lock with the app, and it remains hit-and-miss whether it will open or not. As for the fob I purchased... No chance. Try as I might, the darn thing will not pair or function. Please, please update.

Promising idea, but terrible software. Crashing if you deny permissions. Crashes if your bluetooth isn't enabled. Failure to save setup config. Basically, a waste of money.

Can't unlock the lock, the app just doesn't work.

Only shows blue logo screen. Tried every possible way over a period of about 2 months but even support can't help!!! WTF! It worked before. What now?! This is on android 7.0 on NEXUS 6P!

Great concept but very buggy app. Crashes a lot. And/or forgets how to connect to the lock. Clearing all app data from android settings and restarting usually solves this, but it's a total pain! Latest update helps a little, but the programming of the app is obviously still very poor. Noke: this is killing your product. Why don't you fix it? Hire a decent android programmer.

After the major update, the app and locks work like they should have. I'm very happy with the 5 noke's i purchased now. I couldn't program more than 1 without having a ton of issues. Now I can program all 5 without any issues. Nice job noke!!

Setup failed, unlocking works intermittently, had to setup Noke using work iPhone. Also added fob using iPhone app and it does not sync and show up on Android app. IPhone app works really web, android app sucks... what is this 2010???

Android App on my S7 only works intermittently so have given up using it. Life is too short.

As an early adopter I left a 2 star review after teething problems. Yesterday needing a cable lock I dug my Noke out again and was amazed to find it just worked. Phone stays in pocket, press the lock shackle, count to three, bingo, it opens. Maybe it's my new Samsung S7 phone? Anyway, its looking good. Edit: five minutes to open lock this morning -had to reboot phone. Minus one star

Like other reviews, the Noke lock itself is wonderfully designed. However, the Android app - at least for my Samsung S6 has several issues: - The set-up didn't work smoothly. However, after 3-4 attempts I finally managed to get it working - Now and then I get a crash, with a message "SAS stopped working" - There is no option to leave the app running in the background. So, using the 1-step option, you still have to take the phone out of your pocket to start the app. - Minor issue (at least for me) is that when you open the location in the history, the map is showing a location 700 km from where I locked/unlocked the lock! This mainly just highlights that very little testing is done on this app - at least on my Android version! As mentioned, the lock itself is great, so I really hope they will start taking the Android app seriously!

Just got back in from 15 minutes standing in the rain trying to unlock my woodshed. After rebooting my phone (Nexus 5x 7.1.1 ) finally managed to get the lock to open. Sort it out noke

Not working after the update! Haven't used the device since November. The app is stuck at the blue logo screen.

Sorry, but since the app was updated a few days ago, it no longer works on my Moto E 2nd gen. Whatever was done in the Bluetooth rewrite has broken the app for me.

Worked 1/2 the time with the old version. Have not been as to unlock since installing new app. iPhone has no problem with the same locks

Constantly crashing won't pair fobs or update lock. Bloody frustrating!

Needs major bug work for Android systems..Can't even get past the main blue logo screen 75% of the time making my NOke useless

Simple well designed app

Once I opened the lock and closed it, I'll have to exit from the app and try again or else I will not be able to unlock it again... I'm using a sony Xperia X. My mother uses a iphone and never has this problem. The android version just pales in comparison. Please fix this

1 star because i can't give 0 stars, for Android it is useless you need to restart the app every time. i have problems with this paperweight using, htcM8, Samsung tab2, Samsung Note 5 and Samsung S7. Maybe OK for Apple products. Should be written on the box that it sucks!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't Buy this product

What happened?

It's a great idea. But the Android app is a big time fail currently. Crazy difficult to open the lock's retail packaging, too. Go to their website to watch a video to learn how to open it. Won't pair, won't upload, So I won't keep this lock. Simple. I'll try back in 6 months though and revisit this app and this rating.

It never unlocks, I always need to use the padlock secret combination, this is not a smart padlock

Bluetooth crashes constantly disconnecting everything and app works sporadically. Complete garbage

The Bluetooth is so bad that I wish I would have gotten another brand over this. It works when it wants to. I am on a ship and usually when 4G is off it doesn't work (even though it's a Bluetooth device). When it does work it works for a few minutes then stops. Luckily they added a pattern unlock sequence. Not worth full price until you get the Bluetooth working!

I bought two locks for work thinking this would be a great way to have multiple guys get into a tool cabinets with out needing to keep up with the keys. I got registered and got the confirmation email. Using my email and login couldn't login to the app. Some how got it to finally work and was able to get one lock set up to my phone. Never could get the key fob set up. I closed the app and opened it up again and app would never load. I unistalled and reinstalled app. Now I can't get logged in anymore.
