Great app. The png is stored in downloads. If you don't see it, use a file manager to find it in the directory.

Unfortunately the app just seems to grab the layout after configuration and doesn't receive updates that include changes made by the RemoteViews API. In this apps defense, it's no worse than the Widget Preview app included in the Android Emulator.

It says that it saved, but I cannot find the image file in the downloads folder or anywhere else. Tried on three different devices with same results: Nexus 5 android L Nexus 5 android 4.4 Sony LT25i android 4.1.2 However, using the other sharing features does work (I used gmail)

Good app, would be great if one could resize the widget within the app like on the homescreen. As said, the best thing for me was the hint in the email, to place the image into drawable-nodpi.

You're idea is great, but it's not working ok on multiple devices, from Nexus 4 to Galaxy S, or Motorola Xoom 2...it crops the widget after it has"squished" it. 3 stars for the idea and for the fact you tried something even if Android team forgot to write the specifications on the website for the widget preview.

The Honeycomb emulator is so slow. This made creating widget previews for my app a whole lot easier. Thank you very much for doing this.

This is so much easier and quicker than the emulator version if you don't want to mess around with command lines and such. Nice work
