XS Malarkey is the multi-award winning comedy night, at The Pub/Zoo, Grosvenor Street, Manchester. We are dedicated to maintaining grassroots comedy, top notch headline acts, and a not-for-profit ethos, in a venue which has a wide variety of drinks and fantastic food.

What’s the damage, guvnor?
Entrance is just £3 if you have a Malarkey Card, or £5 if you don’t. A Malarkey Card costs £8 (that includes entrance on the night) – and the card lasts for life, too.

What about the comedy?
Acts who have appeared at XS Malarkey over the years have included Stewart Lee, Phill Jupitus, Jason Manford, Jimmy Carr, Richard Herring, The Boy with Tape on his Face, John Bishop, Alan Carr, Josie Long, Peter Kay, Sarah Millican, Russell Howard, Gary Delaney, Sam Simmons, John Kearns and Jack Whitehall.

Plus some of the best up and coming comedians from around the country, and local new talent as well.

Is it any good?
Well, our combination of low entry fee and popularity with quality acts means we’ve won the Chortle Award for Best Comedy Club more times than anyone else, and two out of three of the North West Comedy Awards for Best Club.
