VirusTotal Mobile

This app wants account access but does not have an option to login. Suspicious. This unofficial app uses a privacy policy for the VT site, not it's own. Considering it wants account access this is even more suspicious. Nice GUI but locks you out of the preferences unless you do a scan.

It amazes me how some things just don't take off because people don't participate as much as they should (drive-in movies, roller rinks, etc.). VirusTotal is like this, but actually helps motivate an important real-world problem (malware). However, this product is only as good as the amount of people who use it, so I recommend EVERYONE DOES. This tool is beneficial to the safety of the internet, but people must participate for it to work well. It's like Web of Trust but for virii.

it's good but when I shared apk file with the app to scan. it crashed.

This is group of the best antivirus *super 60+* which inspect every app thoughrly.

Does what very few others do. A single installation for multiple anti-mal/VIRUSES evaluations. Avoids the conflicts between multi program installations. It lists the true abbreviation for Individual apps, rather than the "Friendly" designation. That makes it easier to research the apps true function. Most similar apps just install adware and info. skimming functions (Microsoft, Google, and Apple already skim enough).

... but there's absolutely no way of asking for a new analysis. If the file you're sending has already been analyzed, it will display the last report, no matter how old it is: sent a file and ended up with a report of 2013... and UI could use some more work too: the side menu looks unfinished with a blank first menu item that replaces the current window title with "Header"...

Because you can upload files from this app.... But, there is typo especially in settings page.... please fix that, FunnyCat.... keep this good work continue!

Like your app, Love not yet...however here are some functional improvements I would like to see for Samsung devices... a way to retest apps for us stubborn ones who need it checked again today, right from the results would be awesome. Non rooted Samsung devices cannot get to the core system files without voiding our warranty, if you know a way to work around this, some files won't even let you upload them, something with the file permissions for root folders, it would be super-mega awesome. Missing files details. The best now on.

Needs some progress counter for a system scan. Crashes when I share a sample apk file to it from Solid Explorer, or use it to pick an apk from inside the app. Doesn't let me pick apk files from the in-built file manager. Needs a button to skip the scan.

Just wish I could login to my account. Needs a select all button. I had to submit 250 new apps. by hand. New phone. Not out yet.

This app is recommended by Adrián Lamo, so I believed this will be a very good app. But it has been a day after I clicked the "scan" button, and nothing happened. Just scanning forever.

Why have one security app when you can have dozens. This is better than the VirusTotal App made by VirusTotal because you can send unknown apps, files, and URLs and get reports back in minutes...FREE! You still need a good real-time scanner like Bitdefender, but that's all you need. [English speaker only]

It's official app of Virustotal? When I send to report, I can't log on my account to gain rewards of this.... Also when I send many at same time, I can't control to stop the sending files....

I very seldom rate an app esp. when it comes to security. Ive been using ESET for years and it is quite as good as this one. Only these two apps managed to detect the virus on my phone. sad to say, its a system app and Im not rooted. Dr.web space is also good, detected my phone mms/sms vulnerability. And again, its so bad that sms filtering isn't supported in 5.1 androids.
