DC Metro and Bus

I have had this app for years and it STILL doesn't let you set the metro map as the default screen. It makes no sense

I am giving this app one star solely because the it doesn't give eastbound arrival times for the Georgetown/Union Station line (and possibly others. I've told the developers directly and nothing's changed.

Need to have the app find the nearest transfer bus station to the nearest metro then map the rest. Is that too much to ask. Walk distance is not necessary. Thanks.

The latest version barely functions. Please fix the trip planner. All i want to see is the train times, maps of the trip plan are not an immediate need and should noy be seen first. Also please add back train departure times

This application doesn't update on a regular basis. For the past few days I've not been able to use it.

Great app that is written with offline capabilities. The next step would be if you can specify your favorite lines or routes and be notified of things like closures or safetracking, but no complaints here!

I want to be able to push on the bus stops to see about what times they get there, very irritating that I can't

The GPS device is always off on the bus that I need to take in the morning and then it's not listed as coming so I am not outside when it comes so I miss the bus. Yes this app is nice and it is good but I have missed my bus before and been late too many times.

Totally a waste. Most of the time you get a msg "no times predicted". Pure trash.

Buses keep disappearing in the tracker causing me to miss several buses.

I hate the updated version, it used to show Metro delays. it doesnt do that anymore. uninstalling

Trip planner does not work, keep hanging

The arrival times are inaccurate, current status chAnges are not reported, and safetrack slowdowns are not reported.

App is great! Sometimes app doesn't work when you check the accurate time for bus schedules. Keep up the good work.

This app is very useful. I've helped myself and others with it! Just wish some of the drivers were as helpful and useful!

As a visitor to our nation's Capitol we found this app easy to use, accurate, and indispensable!

Downloaded this app since the DC Metro and Transit app (which had a far more efficient trip planner) stopped producing it because y'all implemented one of you're own. Abysmal. Gotta type every location in, no drop down, no radio buttons. Pretty sure your developers don't know what they're doing. Lol smh.

Absolute crap. Metro had been using a fine, well-vetted, nationally (probably universally) used, NextBus, which was fine. Now, I've missed busses, I've waited up to 6 minutes for a bus that was showing 0 minutes on the app (and it was supposedly tracking, not using schedule times), and more. It's pretty much worthless. I have to build so much leeway into my schedule using this app that I might as well just use schedules.

The latest upgrade added a "feature" where it says that there are no trips scheduled when the app cannot connect to a wireless network. The old version continued to show the latest available predictions while it tried to update, so at least you knew when the next trip was scheduled when you had a connection a minute or two ago. Now, you lose that information when they replace it with the inaccurate message that no trips are scheduled.

I found this app very useful when I first began to use. Then they made several "upgrades," and besides being less user friendly for me, it is INACCURATE. It literally no longer serves the purpose of accurately telling me when the the bus (in particular) is coming.

This app is wonderful and I would easily give it 5 stars if it included info for PG County's The Bus transit. MG County's Ride-On can't even manage itself, but The Bus's info is very accessible. Please seriously consider it.

My real favorite which is the stop near my house was dropped by this app. Considering I don't drive and I am disabled this is irritating. I prefer the old app just for that reason. Also why not make it easy to get help with this app? I have memory issues. There are some saved stops I no longer need since my Mom has passed.

The old app worked just fine. Trip planner is awful as well as bus prediction. Absolutely not what Metro needs to be wasting money on when safetrack has been nothing short of a failure.

Lately waiting for bus according to app and when it's down to 2mins bus disappears from app and bus doesn't show up. Times are not accurate or reliable. Buses show up randomly and not according to app. Made me late for work on too many occasions.

Generally a very reliable, easy app that lets you store favorite stations or bus stops to see the next bus or train quickly. The trip planner has big buttons for "get me home" or "get me to work" too, so if you're away from your usual stop, it's just two clicks to see your best options.
