I'm not going to create an account just to see if the OCR works well. I can understand not being able to save anything until I create an account, but just to try the interface, no way.

R70%
by R####:

For the cost of a premium account and the unbelievably good support it is a winner. Not seen anything that comes close to this for what it does. Great work guys

This comment should save you time.

K70%

Terrible decision to monetize this app after months.

R70%
by R####:

I wanted an app to scan my business cards and port them into Contacts. Every snap I take generates no info from the card.

R70%
by R####:

Have been searching for a reliable way to digitize cards and export them to various databases for years. Was beginning to think the nut would never be cracked they cracked it. As a bonus, LinkedIn and other Social Media links tell me where I can connect to each contact so I do it immediately and don't forget. Huge time save and marketing boon all around.

R70%
by R####:

I love that this easily syncs to my Google contacts and you get unlimited cards for free. I don't mind that it takes a bit to transcribe (because I don't need them immediately), and the quality has been pretty good in the dozens of cards I've uploaded so far. However, I noticed that the company website gets missed a lot. Not a big deal, but room for improvement there.

M70%
by M####:

I cannot log in. App says it is sending new password to my email address but nothing ever shows up! Frustrating to not have access to my contacts.

R70%
by R####:

Works every time. I tried several others this ones the most accurate

Q70%
by Q####:

Transcribing... 10 minutes to completion. Really? Other apps do recognition instantly. To recognize the text in 10 minutes you don't even need a good algorithm, a network with cheap remote labor would suffice.

R70%
by R####:

Fast and easy to use! Then I can quickly load the info to my CRM!

R70%
by R####:

So far this is great. I am not a orginized person when it comes to contacts and this, so far, has been awesome for me. I'm very very excited. Hope it continues work for me as I learn more about it!

R70%
by R####:

Working great so far but if I could add one thing it would be that I could create folders to store my contacts by company they work for. That would be a 5 star app.

R70%
by R####:

Simple interface and easy to use. Recommended because they have humans typing in the data, but make sure you take clear images. One issue: can't create new tags which makes it near impossible to sort your cards. Use the description field until this is fixed.

R70%
by R####:

Finally there is something which you can try for free, and which provides you with the same set of powerful features that CardMunch provided before LinkedIn munched it....

R70%
by R####:

You can sign up for Full Contact with your Google credentials, but this app won't work this way. Add Google signin to the app and I will re-review.

R70%
by R####:

Cool for easily reading and transcribing business cards. You can also push them right to your contact list or tag them to find them later.

R70%
by R####:

I had an issue with two multicolored business cards but overall it is spot on!

W70%
by W####:

I gave it an honest try. The "humans" that are touted by this app didn't even fill in all of the information. I'll go back to OCR scanners.

R70%
by R####:

Love this app. Can get rid of all those business cards. They are so accurate. I feel organized. Amazing!

R70%
by R####:

Far and away the best card reader out there. Accuracy is a thing of beauty with this app. Full Contact (paid and free) puts out correct info on every scan. I don't have to correct it like all the other apps I've tried. And, then I love the desktop where I can export the list for my emailing service. If you upgrade to Premium, like I did, you can't beat the price. I can't pay anyone to do the job for less that $99 in a year. Best bargain administrative assistant around.

R70%
by R####:

Very Good but not free! I really liked the app. Seems to work well, not perfect, like OCR I need to make certain tweaks (a lot less than OCR), but seems solid and I also enjoyed the webpage where I could sort my contacts and make changes. However I did not like reading "Free for a limited time only" on the Playstore and finding out I scanned 1 card out of 20 on the webpage. I need to pay to use the app (monthly or yearly), I guess to pay for the people transcribing the business cards. So I recommend it to those who really need it and be aware it is not free.

D70%
by D####:

Works great and it's free at the moment!

R70%
by R####:

Saved lot of my time. Instead of typing hundreds of contacts just click photo, check if there is any mistake and save.

R70%
by R####:

I downloaded the app to export my business cards to MailChimp but all it did was export them all to my address book.

H70%
by H####:

So I love the service. I also love that they have people transcribing the cards. Much better results. Yes you have to wait a little, but well worth it. The GMail app works great. One drawback is that it won't install on my N7 2013 Wifi. Errr. That would make it 5 stars instead of 4 stars.

U70%
by U####:

Great app for someone that always are getting new business cards and it's easy to use highly recommend it

C70%
by C####:

Takes more time but better to have accuracy than other apps that end up with errors due to bad OCR scans. I took a pic of a hand written phone and email at a meetup and got entered perfectly.

G70%
by G####:

I used to use Cardmunch and loved it. When they went under, the only option were OCR based card readers. They were fast, but rarely accurate. I used to spend about 5 minutes per card, just cleaning up OCR mistakes. Full Contact has real people doing that 5 minutes of work for me, so all I have to do is snap a picture and wait 10-20 minutes to have the card ACCURATELY added to my contacts. A+

N70%
by N####:

A great replacement to Card Munch. Transcription has been great. I wish I could crop the cards, I am a perfectionist.

E70%
by E####:

Though it takes some time to transcribe these cards, I am very happy I don't have to do it myself. The integration with Zapier into Base CRM was pretty straightforward, a bit of a manual process, but in the end, works out very well. Pretty pleased that this is free (as far as I can tell).

C70%
by C####:

Looked like it scanned great, but I didn't like cost model for my needs - just want to be able to accurately scan then give me file that exports to .csv

A70%
by A####:

This card reader program is making my life easier.

O70%
by O####:

This is a time save for me. Scan cards after networking events and see them in salesforce next day, usually 30 minutes later.

C70%
by C####:

The Full Contact service is one of my favorite business tools. The card scanner saves me many hours of valuable productivity every single month. The recent Gmail integration has taken Full Contact over the top for me.

U70%
by U####:

Why does it need online and take 20 minutes? So I'm in a bad signal area and can't capture card?

U70%
by U####:

Best card reader I've seen. Does NOT use unreliable OCR: transcription is done by a human. All info has been added accurately and syncs directly to my contacts. Sometimes, it does take an hour or so before it gets added, but often it's done in minutes. Either way, you can scan and be done.

U70%

Wow after trying so many. This is perfect captured

Love the contact transcription. Gmail integration sometimes has issues. Overall, great app.
