ScanSnap Connect Application.

In ChromeOS on my two different Chromebook models this app will only launch once and if you ever close it then it just crashes when you try to reopen. Also it doesn't have a nice tablet/fullscreen interface. I"ve contacted support but at this point it's unusable due to the crashing. Really was hoping for a more complete scanning solution outside of using Scansnap Cloud.

It is meant to keep track of documents that if lost could be catastrophic. It scans both sides of paper. Making it ideal for safe guarding paperwork that is irreplaceable.

Is Misleading to say that if I scan to cloud, this app will be connected to scanner

Need a batch upload feature. You have to move one file at a time when finished scanning. Otherwise it's a great app.

I am trying to get this app to work with i500 but do disappointment! It is a good scanner Fujitsu needs to catch up to the 21st Century without use from a handheld device Android, iPhone it is just not keeping up with the cutting edge. Is it?

It would be exponentially better if it had better autonaming options. Functionality update needed: The option checkboxes for duplex and "save together" should not be buried under profile > Format. These checkboxes should be directly under the list of files next to the settings icons (main screen) for quick access when doing a lot of scanning. Well go figure .. after posting this don't I run into the exact issue. I thought it was in duplex, scanned a large document and shreaded the paper. Then realized ..

Installed on Nexus6P/Android7. Directly connects to scanner wifi but app won't see scanner. Works fine on older device with Android 4.1 or 5.

Please so something to solve the problem.

still rock the old version since new ones seem broke....could really use ability to connect via hotspot instead of needing a router in the middle, would gladly update then, bit ridiculous that i need my laptop to connect via usb to the ix500, then scan, then have to connect to my phone hotspot to send an email....at home it works fine on router wifi but im a truck so never home to use it that way

На Android поднял точку доступа. Зацепил за нее ix100, устройства на win10, macOS, android. В таком режиме все перечисленные выше устройства нормально работают со сканером. А вот scansnap, запущеный на хостовом android, не видит сканера ни под каким соусом. ix100 - безпроводное устройство для мобильного офиса?... только если вы не пожелаете использовать эту программу с android устройства, раздающего интернет по wifi (((. В роли хоста опробованы Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 и Homtom HT6.

Ix500 useless

Giving this app 3 stars because of basic, overlooked usability issues. If you have scanned multiple documents that are saved out to multiple files, users only can share or send each individually. There is no "Select all" feature for sharing or sending, but there is for deleting. Total nonsense. Please fix your software Fujitsu to accommodate common use cases.

Works great. Open app and click on scan, you are done.

Doesn't seem to work with iX500. App configuration does not match steps provided by manufacturer in setup screens. App never finds scanner WiFi. So I am unable to use this. User experience could definitely be improved, huh?

I thought this would be the perfect thing for my work, since I travel and don't always have the options of plugging in a computer to scan a document and taking a picture really isn't the same, but this app is garbage and does not work. I have uninstalled it 12 times and the wifi will not work. it did work the firs 6-7 time I used it, but now it will do nothing unless I am connected to my laptop which defeats the whole purpose of having a "mobile scanner" EPIC FAIL and a waste of my money and I would not recommend this to anyone that needs a mobile scanner that you can use via your phone (android/Iphone) because you will be in for a rude awakening. So I regrettably have to spend more time trying to find a portable scanner that is an actual "portable" scanner.

I'm still in the honeymoon phase with my iX500 scanner, but I think this app is great, but missing one thing - support for multiple profiles.

I have a samsung galaxy note 4 and I've tried to follow the instructions to set it up for mobile by connecting the phone to the USB port on my computer with Wi-Fi on both the ScanSnap ix 500 and the computer. Unable to set up after 15 minutes. Wi-Fi keep searching.

It hurts my eyes to see this terribly ugly icons, but it does the job!

No issues with the functionality, but with the app open, the screen never shuts off.. so phone goes flat very quickly. Please fix.

Where to even begin. Looks terrible, works terribly. It's unintuitive, weirdly complicated and just overall the worst. How did this happen?

It needs a PC running special software all the time. Linux is not supported.

It sure would be nice If the app would let me use the set up wizard with ix500. Then I could follow the instructions on how to connect. Poor.

Won't work on wifi after setting it up for about 5 times and mobile is on endless search.

I need the IX100 app.

I use the ScanSnap app on my Android to connect to my ScanSnap iX500. The setup works perfect! It's so good, it's hard to believe. The scans are very high quality, and the PDFs are small and compressed. The settings allow you to control simplex, duplex, color, b/w, and so forth. And, they work. I mean work every single time. Please developers use the new Chrome app ARC Welder to modify your app to work with Google Chrome. Note there's a new flag in Chrome to open up firewall holes (chrome://flags/#enable-firewall-hole-punching). This will bring the world's best scanning tool to Chromebooks.

Please add the ability to sync the scanned documents to Evernote, Google Drive and OneDrive.

Garbage software that doesn't connect and asks me to change the port because of a communication error. It worked fine when I just set it up on my phone, but after a day of idling it is kaput.

Want to setup? Well at the instructions screen for their setup wizard you just sit there after hitting 'next' and no surprise, it looks like nowhere else in the app exposes where to deal with setup and input of details manually. It's like Kies all over.
