Fuelly Web App for Android
Only pro is that it allows me to put in the data I need. I can't believe I have to deal with the autofill everytime. The miles, gallons, and probably price are going to be different every single time but it still comes up blocking half the page. Can't add cars or modify anything
Android app is GARBAGE compared to the iPhone version. As others said, it's basically a badly-ported version of the website. Viewing charts is extremely difficult. The iPhone app lets you add photos, has a much more condensed overview, and is much easier to enter your data into the fields. 2 stars because it works, but barely.
This is terrible in comparison to the iOS app. The interface is not easy to use, it doesn't automatically calculate the total cost of a fill up, you have to scroll through a ton of extra fields to be able to submit a fill up, and it just doesn't look good! If they can just copy the app from iOS they will be fine.
Works great to input the important data that you want to track, except for one thing.... You can not mark notes as private when using the app. You end up having to go back and set it via the browser full desktop version.
This app is a major letdown. I came from the fuelly app on iOS, which a native, fully functional app, and puts this effort to shame. I'm fairly certain the user base on Android is sufficient to justify this app more recently than 2014 (I'm writing this at the end of 2017). I'll be looking to someone other than fuelly to track my vehicles' data.
Not really an app. Just links to the website but with less functionality like zoom etc. Can't fit or move the page around the screen. Total waste of time
If only the Android version was as good as the Apple version... Don't get me wrong, I do love its purpose, but this app is literally a bookmark that directs you to the website. Horrible! Please fix it!
Its just a bare minimum wrapper for the fuelly website. It allows you to add fuel ups but it's pretty crude. I'd like to see a proper app developed for Android like the rich iOS version in the future.
The iPhone version of this app is awesome. The Android version stinks. It doesn't even provide a way to view past stats or view/edit reminders etc. You would be better off visiting the website via browser.
The interface is clunky, full website view doesn't scale to a mobile screen at all. I can still input my fuel ups but prefer to just use the website from a PC. A friend showed me the iOS version of fuelly and it looks MUCH nicer.
I cannot express how disappointed I am in this app. I used the ios app for years and just upgraded to an android and tried this app. Now I'll start looking for another option.
Crap. no other words can explain this good for nothing try hard app. You get a better experience using a web browser
Looks like the website as an app. I was expecting more from it. Besides that I can't log on, on the app. I can't log on, therefore I can't use it. An app you can't use is by definition, useless. Hopefully I'll have more luck sitting in front of my computer each time I fill up
This app is garbage. Hideous interface, hard to enter data, no easy customization, nothing user friendly. This is surprising to me. I used their iPhone app for about 3 years and it was beautiful, elegant, easy to use and easy to read your stats. This Android version looks like a 5-year-old put it together. There is no better description that garbage. It looks like I will lose 3 years of fueling data because the app refuses to transfer all my cars from iPhone to Android. I am so disappointed.
People whining about this app compared to Apple's can't see the forest for the trees. I don't need to obsess over stats on my phone or another app to hog resources. I'll do that on my tablet or my computer. This is great for getting a detailed input for a fuel up. I do wish they hadn't included so many variables in last update, I don't need to tag 30 things, just volume, distance, octane, maybe the brand. And maybe the percentage of City driving. I do miss the slider bar, but overall the app is fine.
A link to the mobile site which is horrendously unoptimised. View meta port tag would help at least. Simple things and I'm not even a Web designer/developer. Very tempted to make my own as you're missing so many avenues.
This app would be so much better if it were more than a portal for their poorly designed mobile Web site. It lacks basic functionality found on their man site such as looking at past fuel ups and charts.
The app has for 340.9 HUF cost/liter value invalid price responded. Please belive me. It is not invalid, just Hungarian Forint...
Not really an app. Just links to the website but with less functionality like zoom etc. Can't fit or move the page around the screen. Total waste of time
App is terrible compared to iOS version. Doesn't keep my signed in. Lacking overall and makes me consider finding another app.
Everytime I use the app, it force closes now. I have to use chrome to go on the website and enter my data. It's getting quite annoying. Thinking of switching to another program with similar functionality when I go for my next major service.. My data would be kept on your servers for historical reference only.
The iPhone version of this app is awesome. The Android version stinks. It doesn't even provide a way to view past stats or view/edit reminders etc. You would be better off visiting the website via browser.
Coming from iOS, this app is by far much worse. Please consider putting in further effort into future releases of this app.
Why treat Android users like second class citizens? It's not like it's a paid app . still crap...
1 star until the very simplistic feature of landscape view is added. It's a vehicle-based app...seriously no landscape view?! pathetic.
I put in my log in information and it tells me that the email address isn't valid. Seems odd since I can log into the website using the exact same email address.
This is not a app....so i read....however....i could not even get my login to take via it.....just go to wesite directly now.....dont waste your time
The iPhone version is WAY better. This app was created so Android users weren't left out... It was an after thought. Disappointing really.
The concept of sharing your data and consolidating your model with everyone else is great, the interface for this web-based app is horrible even on the mobile phone it's not a mobile-friendly site it's so 1995 it's ridiculous just download a regular app and move on, I'm uninstalling it now
The app opens on my S4 just fine, then only AFTER wasting time to fill out all the required fields, the app bombs out. Totally useless app.
Most unuser friendly app to use on a mobile device ever. Don't waste your time use the other simpler app instead.
It's not even worth 1 star but zero stars isn't an option. In 2016 this is unacceptable and has to be one of the worst "apps" I've seen. Its nothing more than a web page and even that is poor implemented on mobile. Unless you want to spend your time sitting at a PC I'd aviod this. I'll stick with Fuelio an app that is actively developed and get better and better with each update.
It's a start, but it needs improvements. Pros: - It's easy to input the numbers, the format is pretty simple. - Immediately tells you mpg after filling up Cons: - Doesn't give you any of the stats you can see on the desktop site. This gets a pass as there is a direct link to the "Full Site" if I really want it. - Can't research vehicles - Takes a decent amount of time to load between screens, even on LTE or Wifi.
This 'app' redirects the user to their very poorly designed webpage where you will be bombarded with ads and popups. Hey guys, at least use a resposive site template so that the site is readable on mobile devices.
Very disappointed with the app, no effort at all, it's just linked to the website. Pathetic effort. Good concept wasted.
Really poorly designed app for a service that has so much potential. This just isn't optimised for the mobile experience. Only redirecting to the mobile version of the website which is in itself okay at best. This app needs to be built properly from the ground up.
This is the worst implementation of a mobile app I have ever had the frustrating misfortune of attempting to use. If you need to enter fuel ups just do it from Chrome
This is a hacked together app with almost none of the functionality of the ios version. It's essentially a link to the mobile site and nothing more. It has a popup everytime you log a fill up asking for you to enter information like engine and drive train that is already indicated in your vehicle. I see no reason not to simply navigate to the website on your browser.
This is perfect. A super lightweight HTML5 site instead of just-another-native-app. It does exactly what I wanted it to do--let me enter in a fill-up on the go. Couldn't be happier.

As the other reviewers have said, this app is just the website with a wrapper around it... and it doesn't work that well. The basic functionality (recording a fill-up) works fine but that's about all you can do. Can't go to dashboard, browse, etc. I love the Fuelly service though and will continue to stick it out until they (hopefully, someday) come out with a real app.
