FPS Meter for Android
Developer, gj I don't know how much does your app effects final fps(not much I hope) but it does what it should do perfectly do not listen to retards, that are trying to open jar file on the phone. Really good job (if you can tell how much your app effects total fps I mean in exact percentage it would be awesome)
Do you know alternative to this app without using ROOT? SO, thank you, creator of this app. Could you, please, add processor temperature and loading? It can help to make full analysis of the device. My phone is Elephone M2. Work perfect. Le 2 is rebooted by this app
This app does exactly what I want it to do, it tells my what frame rate my device is running at. Nothing more; nothing less. Haven't noticed any hiccups or crashes, and the number is the perfect size. The UI to launch the tool could be better. I think just a simple on off switch would be better, but I'm just nitpicking at this point.
I have a LG G Flex F340S and whenever I try to open the counter through this app, it tells me to install a .jar file. There is no help whatsoever and Googling does not help. If this needs PC, then I'm out. Used this in a Xiaomi Mi3 and there is no .jar option, it just shows perfectly. What is going on?
The app does what it is suppose to do, measure app/games framerate. The app let's rooted users use it no problem but non rooted users have to do it a another way and it isn't difficult. So everyone can use the app no problem. The app however does have a problem. That is that when using the app for a couple minutes it will suddenly freeze then restart the phone. Now this is pretty annoying specially if you are non rooted meaning you would have to reactivate the app again. That takes up time and it starts to get annoying pretty bad. I have a Samsung Galaxy s5 and I have use this app other my other Samsung s5 and the same thing happened. So this is a problem aim at certain phones. If they can fix that the app would be a 4/5 and if they add a function that makes it so you don't have to launch the app in the app that would make things much quicker. That is pretty much it.
I could not get the Java program to work. It opened once, but now it won't open again. I'm only giving 3 stars because other reviews say that this app works wonderfully
Not accurate. I use S7 Edge, measured framerate always very low around 1x to 2x fps but games run very smooth. Using another benchmark tool can archive 60 fps.
People only rated low because they were too dumb to follow the simple instructions for setting up the app. It does exactly what it is supposed to do, would recommend.
Awesome app get it.Msg2author: fantastic fraps 4 Android BUT needs to be able to quickly jump back to the game you were in b4 u pressed close all (s7) otherwise the app requires u 2 find the game in a list to remove notification message. Prefer yellow over white the 2. Thank you dev
My tablet frequently crashes whenever I ran this app. Why is that? Any help is appreciated. I'm using it on shield k1 tablet.
It works for 16 seconds them the fps counter just stops for no reason and when i try to reactivate then it crashes... [Samsung Galaxy Ace 4] OS: 4. 4. 4 KitKat
Error is: FPS Service is not activated. Try to reactivate FPS meter. If this doesn't work restart your device. What does this mean? I go into a game and it just crashes.
Works very good. The only problem ive got is after having this app turned on for 3-4 min. my phone reboots
Okay, it work "great" at all but Idk why it keeps turning my phone off, dudes, why?! For real, it's really awful...
It does as it should, I don't see anything wrong with it, so why so much hatred? Still hope this helps. Anyways thanks for building this app for us!
Why is there so much hate on this app it does what it says to and does a good job to!
This app crashs my phone after it runs for a while which is really annoying! Does anyone else have this problem? My phone just randomly would reset it self after beginning of a benchmark test.
Does what it promises but there are two major problems: 1-It takes long time for FPS meter to take root permission 2-Pleas provide direct stop"FPS benchmark from notification
Dont know why people gave low rate? My lg g3 marshmallow is not rooted i just follow the instruction how to use it and viola gratz me. Its like fraps of android. Lol this is my first rating and giving comment.
The FPSMeter program wouldn't start any services in my Nexus 9 tablet, even though I had given it USB debugging privileges and authorized my computer's fingerprint. It kept saying my tablet was "unauthorized".
I don't get why people are giving this bad rating, it's a handy tool and it works well. If you are looking for a free simple FPS displaying tool such as fraps on PC then I can only recommend this app to you.
Iam having a Motorola Moto G3 XT1550, running Android 7.0 with root access and it is not starting!! It would say to restart the phone and even if I did so, no difference at all!!
I love it... But The FPS didn't show up... Please Developer fix this problem
This app works perfectly for me. I'm using an LG G3 on rooted Marshmallow 6.0. If you follow the website directions, I'm pretty sure it will work on non-rooted devices as well.
Makes my phone laggy and I know I get 60 fps and yet this app can cuase lag and I went to 30-45 fps avg. Optimize it more my phone is the Driod maxx
I followed the steps on the website. But, its still not working. I download app in my PC... I tried to open it... But cant, wich application you mean? I tried to click all files, none of those work... I did all step already
This app wants me to go to some website that my antivirus is saying it's not a safe website and to enter some codes and stuff HELL NO .5 stars
Reboots my One plus 3 when using this app . Tried with so many different apps. This app causes OP3 to be rebooted.
It works well dose an exactly what it says but crashes my phon3 its probably sonys falut though 9
I love it but it would really be nice if it can auto run in the background with my selected game without me always having to use the app to play a game with the FPS counter on. The FPS counter already by default persists in the notification bar so if there could be an option to allow for some users to set the persistent bar whenever the game launches it would be really neat! There could perhaps be a Pro version with these options activated? I can't give you a 4 because this is the best and easiest app I have used just for that very purpose.

Followed all the steps, then ran the app on one of my games. Things worked fine at first, then it restarted my phone by itself. Tried running the app again, but the meter was stuck at zero. I then restarted my phone myself to see if that would fix it, but now it's saying that I need to re activate it all over again! Perhaps my phone does need to be rooted for this to work properly because this is a mess!

It is highly recommended if you want to play a game and load any games within 10 minutes while using this that you overclock a Samsung Galaxy S7 to at least 3.5 GHz on all 4 cores.
I gave 2 stars...it keeps restarting my phone...uninstalled.... Fix the issue and I will change my rating...I am on Moto E XT1019 (Lollipop 5.1) unrooted

What is going on and why do you people not respond to complain, this app keeps saying that I should reactivate it or restart my phone, I dont know how to reactivate it and I have restarted my phone a billion x and still same. Fyi It used to work before (still rooted)
Setting up was a bit confusing as I was opening the .jar using winrar instead of Java. After figuring everything out it works like a charm!

Don't know why the rating is so bad, it works just fine. Yes, it requires a bit of tinkering but it's all explained right on the website, come on! Even a 5 year old can figure it out. The ads are not even that annoying. Just thought I could help fix this rating by giving it 5 stars.
