Seoul (English pronunciation: /soʊl/; Korean: [sʌ.ul] ( listen), "Capital City", from ancient Sillan "Seorabeol"[5]), officially the Seoul Special City, is the capital and largest metropolis of South Korea. A megacity with a population of more than 10 million, it is the largest city proper in the OECD developed world.[6] The Seoul National Capital Area, which includes the surrounding Incheon metropolis and Gyeonggi province, is the world's second largest metropolitan area with over 25 million people,[7] home to over half of South Koreans along with 366,000 international residents. This app only includes a few tourist attractions. Details are written as encyclopedia entries rather than as a tourist guide. There is no information about opening times, costs, how to get there, etc. The hotel section links to a well known hotel booking website and the food section links to a prompt to download another app. The map is in Hangeul (Korean) letters so will not be useful to most visitors.
