F-Stop Gallery for Android
I really like this app. It is way faster than Quickpic which I have been using for years. My only suggestion is .. can you add the function to be able to change the cover of the albums thumbnails? Each album shows latest picture on cover and the whole thing looks too crowded ..this is keeping me from buying the unlocked version. .thanks
It is a lot faster then quickpic. What I miss is month view in the tiles like quickpic. Also that the app remember what setting I want to use such as show all files I do not want to change it every time I open the app.. Fix these things and I Uninstall quickpic cause your app loads pictures a lot faster
This is an excellent app for photos. But lately I am facing weird issue. Whenever i click on any gif or video, it goes to latest image/ video instead. So it plays one specific video irrespective of what i clicked on. Suggestions?
Please change the way folders can be excluded. Add ability to choose parent folders as well as child folders. It's too cumbersome when it is limited only to the explicit folder of a single file.
Nice photo gallery viewer, but RAW images are NOT recognized! This is really odd, since there are now a lot of device that can record photos in RAW format. Please update as soon as possible!
While this app has themes, the design is outdated and the interface feels too different and clumsy compared to other gallery apps or even file explorers. It has some of both, but not enough to compete with several other great gallery apps available in store.
Dev extremely helpful in resolving an edit problem. Like layout and can move to SD card instead of leaving in tablet memory☺. Also lots of neat "bells & whistles". Awesome app.
This is the best ever gallery I have ever tried before. All the other galleries that i tried before brought Ads in between my photos. Thats what I have most. But am glad that I finally Installed F-Stop Gallery. This is very easy to use with more features an specially Ad free. Thanks to the team.
The app replaces what quickpic could have been... But there is still missing the option to hide with .nomedia the folders, besides that, the option to change the "view" in stack mode... And, when changing to another folder, remember the position from the last folder viewed, in mean, if in the first folder i am in the bottom and change to another remember the position of the first folder
Might have too many features for many users. Wish they had a desktop app too! Probably the most comprehensive image manager for Android. Supports tags, albums and importantly xmp sidecar files for photographers who want to transfer files back to a computer.
The option to tag images is great. Unfortunately, what severely, negatively impacts the value of having this tag feature is that Facebook and Messenger do not seem to support F-stop as an upload option (only pics via the basic Gallery app). The ability to protect [hide] photos coul be a great thing, except that F-stop requires the customer to reinstall the whole app if they forget their password. This is completely unacceptable, because reinstalling means the customer must take hours to re-tag all their pics. It is ludicrous that a complete reinstall is needed; instead, F-stop should just send automatic password reset emails the way practically every other app on the planet does! I have read many reviews and you responses. Thank you for replying; many app developers do not. Nevertheless, do not reply with petulance or condescension to negative reviews, even if the poster was incorrect in their assumptions or immatue in their commentary. If you do not know how to take the higher road [i.e., act professionally] when dealing with your customers, you need to ask youself why you are in the business at all. I will upgrade my review if these two significant issues are resolved. 1. F-stop must allow image uploads via Facebook and Messenger (one of the primary uses of image uploading). If they can, explain how on your help page. If they can't, they need to indicate their app is not supported by Facebook and Messenger on the paid versions (before selling them). 2. Allow customers to change their protected-file password via email, not via a reinstall -- or else, save off the tag memory so reinstallung readds the tags. It is highly inconsiderate to expect you customers to re-tag all their hundreds of images. 3. Elevate your response style when writing replies to reviews you personally feel are unjustified. In many cases, if you take the time to read between the lines, you'll find the customer's underlying issue was justified even if the way they expressed it was inaccurate or chiding.
Not the fastest. Has to load shortly when swiping between photos. Sometimes gets stuck loading the thumbnail before playing a video
Brilliant support, very quick and helpful. Brilliant app. I installed ALL the gallery apps and this is the only one that let's me organise easily, move and copy easily and does not do any strange permissions. Thankyou.
Will you be adding a feature to copy photos from the cloud into the gallery /delete photos in the cloud from within the app. I'm missing this feature from quickpic.
Good. But it DOES NOT have feature to make screen wallpaper. How did you even miss such a basic feature? Please fix/add the feature.
Great app, but used to be able to custom sort folders on my GS7E, now I can't (on GS8+), any ideas?
Was good, now cannot see any pics on SD card following android update.
Best photo gallery app I've found so far
Too slow at refreshing when something is deleted, added or moved. Need to manually refresh.
I need a recent file view button like in quickpic gallery
Simple yet powerful. Wish it had A feature to resize pictures when posting or copying
Why can't we take photo within this app
Please add the support for Microsoft Onedrive
Very good, but would be much better if it had OneDrive support.
Basic editing features like flip, rotate and crop should be included.
Won't open
Best gallery app out there.
Very Good. Thanks.
great
Upgraded to Pro on the promise of being able to add cloud accounts. But then only had the option to add a Dropbox or Google cloud account. Description doesn't mention it is only these 2 that can be added. I want to add my own choice of cloud account. Did I miss something? The app added the 'pro' to the logo so I'm assuming it had unlocked everything but perhaps there's more you have to do to force features to unlock? If not, then I think the description needs to change to make it clear you are limited to either Dropbox or Google for linked cloud accounts.
I've been using F Stop on every Android device I've had over the past five years. Upgrading to Pro was a no brainer, although bought primarily to show my appreciation to the developer. I've just recently acquired my first "un-rootable" phone and can't use Titanium Backup to restore my 136 F Stop Albums. Adding this backup and restore ability directly to F Stop is both timely and absolutely brilliant! Thank you so much! (n.b. I also keep my eye out for this app in the Windows Store as I think it's better than Adobe Lightroom or Bridge for organising albums based on certain criteria and, really, I just enjoy using it more!)
My old copy of Quickpic became unstable after Android's update. So after trying a dozen gallery apps I tried the free version of F-Stop and bought the pro version within fifteen minutes. I would like if Mega and/or Imgur were added to the cloud service.
Very useful; allows filtering with Tags, which I use extensively. I maintain my photo library with Photoshop Elements Organizer, which is how I add tags to my photos. There are also various other convenient ways to organize the selection of photographs to be displayed. I recently thought I saw a minor bug in f-Stop, reported it, and was very happy with the prompt response. They were able to reproduce the problem behavior and promised a fix in the next release.
Ex QuickPic user. Am very impressed with this app and I would buy it right away only if there wasn't that annoying thing: when i scroll up up up to find a pic then tap the screen, instead of stopping the scroll this app opens the pic i tapped on, so have to go back again and start scrolling again. This makes searching for a pic annoying and takes more time. All other apps stop scrolling on tap, but this app doesn't want to stop.
Not really impressed. There's a lack of smoothness to the transitions and double tap zooms that's really jarring. Slowing them down in settings doesn't help. Also not nice that there isn't a built-in image editor.
Lack option to use first image as folder thumbnail in nested view and to automatically sort everything in ascending order. Keep force close now after i choose sort by file path.
Far & out best app for organizing a massive photo collection. Options to sort by tag--then edit tags & update metadata, to keep information consistent across all platforms. Smart albums are another useful tool. Bought pro, then bought a 128gb sd card for my phone, because even the desktop software I use isn't as flexible+easy to use as f-stop.
With help from the support team i was able to resolve the problem. Great job guys! Once again, this app remains the best at what it does , viewing images and saving on cloud.
Esta bien nalga !! :'v , puedo guardar mis packs rikolinos con contraseña y orden ;v

This app is fantastic and well done to the developers. I installed it on my Lenovo Tab2 A10-70F as the stock gallery app is rather basic and useless really. With this app and a little time setting it up it allows me to grow and control my pics gallery exactly as I want to. I have now installed it in my S7edge also because it simply kicks butt and I don't think there is another app that can truly compare to it at present. I have now purchased the PRO version as I believe in supporting the developers of good, working, stable apps. Please do not take away any of the features, improve where you see to but keep this version with its options as your base version. If I could I would give more stars but can't but I can encourage everyone i know to switch to using and buying it. WELL DONE
