F-Secure AV Test

Confused. Nothing is happening I went to the app main page then google play then app then google play until a dialog box popped up saying "this app contains a virus" and "AV test app is infected" in my notif bar, so I commented this before uninstalling this app.

It works and I like when it shows u the files and it comes up as random stuff the makers did

And don't house only your WiFi connection ???only becorse you getting to reset the raouter so often ...be course on the network with 500 HP???? Horse peouple ????and with screen reader and camera !!!!!its out off conroll ..like with an car without traction controll????? ??l like bad rock roll ?????

After download, my antivirus guard notified me to uninstall it

Great for testing your anti - virus product.

It detected the test virus immediately and labeled it as a threat, the same way my other antivirus programs did. It also doesn't use up much ram either, which is good, because storage space on smaller phones can be an issue. I have Bitdefender and Eset, and this doesn't use any more ram space than they do. Overall good work.

Freedome (another F-Secure application) deliberately infects your device with a virus, then says to load and run this application to remove the threat that it just installed. As this application downloaded, Secure anywhere recognized it as malware and prevented the installation.

It worked perfectly as described.My AV app detected a Trojan in this app and(+2 more security breach). Recommended to uninstall it immediately and it did with one click.

Very good test. On my tablet the Smart Manager was the first to inform me to stop installing this app. Webroot and Freedom vpn didn't bother about this app, probably because was not installed.

Just gave my two antivirus apps i have on my phone a test with this ESET Mobile security and white armour security, both took a dislikeing to it, in other words if your antivirus apps u are using is made by a reptuble dev then it will react unkindly to it

What good is an antivirus app that can't detect an antivirus test app?. Useless

You'd think Google's setting to scan apps for malicious content would detect an EICAR test file. That's absurd

Yep, it worked! avast! Mobile Security detected it as a virus when I tried to install it. TEST = PASSED

As soon as I ran it stated that app it self has a virus hahah

FIRST, its a AntiVirus Tester. Not actual AntiVirus app if you didnt already know. .... I have about 5 antimalware and antivirus apps on my Samsung S5 but only 2 of them stopped the installation process. ProTools Antivirus & Uber Antivirus. Those apps dont require unnecessary permissions for installation either.

This is not a real virus but merely a test to see if your av can detect it. Norton security Samsung task manager and malwarebytes all alerted me. The first two alerted me before even installing the app. The latter asked me to uninstall when opening the app.

Now I know if my antivirus really works just one question why is my second antivirus doesn't detect is as a virus but when I have installed a malicious app those two alarmed me that it's a virus?

Eset detected it the moment I installed the thing. Nice job on making it.

Do Not get this app this has malware which can damage your mobile

Smart manager detected the fake virus before installation and had to approve install. F-Secure safe and Freedome also detected once installed.

Downloaded this with Avast and F-Secure Freedome on and both displayed this as a virus! Good one to test your AV app!
