Driver Companion 4 Uber for Android
this app has great potential too bad it has all those annoying eff ads that show up in your face so frequently it makea the app unusable consider fixing the frequency for ad popups to something like 30 minutes or even a one time pay for app
That is an useful app. About the Surge History, can I export the data to .CSV format? Another, Can I put more than 10 point set to get surge?
Do not waste your time with this app. Not even close to being useful.
What does the app do I have paid for two months just to use the help button with no response. Waste if money as far as I can see...this app does NOTHING and it wants a monthly fee. And it screws around with other apps AND it doesn't let you choose what you want to use so if you drive for anything but uber and Lyft and want to be forced to used Google maps that's cool, but your still can't give me one good reason to spend a monthly 4 dollars a month PER driving serve to see and analyse a surge, which I still, in two months, have not seen a single annalysis, a side bar that worked correctly gave choices or a gotten any instruction or help on the app in 2 moths. Delete....I got a widget that does more for me and it was free...uber and Lyft already show surges, so you non reported annalysis isn't really worth paying anything g for especially since the app doesn't do anything and doesn't give e instructions to those who were willing to pay the monthly fee..screw this. Money suckers..
Yep too many adds ,, cant tell if i want to actually buy this.. uninstalling
What happened to the camera feature?
Ads annoying - paid
Smh
Useless. I don't mind paying if it works but it does nothing. Very odd.
I want a refund please I paid 3.99 and I still have ads popping up. I canceled my subscription and would like my money back
This app is invaluable as someone who uses both Lyft and Uber. The one request i would make is the ability to change the location of the HUD. The top icon obscures the pickup address when using Uber. I'd love to be able to move it down the screen about an inch or so
So the app works well it gives me alerts, but reading the data is really hard. Also i forgot my username after a phone reset. There is a way to get your password recovered but not your username so i cancled my subscription. Spent the last month with a program i can't use charging me money.
At first, I was very much enjoying this app... that is, until it severely heated up my phone, slowing it down, and costing me trips. Also, my anti virus apps were detecting intrusive malware on this app. Deleted and unsubscribed from the monthly service.
It's useful for getting surge alerts in your area, but that's about it. The HUD is useless unless you work for both Lyft and Uber AND use Google Maps. Video recording fail on a GS7 edge. This has been an issue for months. Is anyone looking at it?? Analyze gives you a graph with very little useful info, and no indication what any of it means. The app feels unfinished. For $3.99/mo it should be complete.
I payed for this app and everytime I open it, it just crashes. Refund me plz. All i want is an app that tells me when areas are surging...sounds simple enough, yet none of these crap apps actually do that.
Used to be able to display various visualizations of my data. Not much anymore
Points keep grouping back because long press command just like setting up command change reset to an option to highlight all points for reset, not long press
It does nothing is worthless
Points won't stay put. I place and name two or three, then they flock and regroup on their own. The app is not very user friendly. There are no visible options to change point flocking behavior and radius. In fact, I cannot seem to find any options at all. When I click on help, a small pop-up appears that is not entirely helpful at all. I will try to use it, and if I can figure it out and grow to like it, I will change my rating, but as of now, I cannot see myself subscribing to this service.
On my Galaxy s7. Camera says it turns on but nothing else happens, when I turn it off the whole app crashes. There is no option to automatically log off one rideshare when I accept a request on the other. There is no detailed guide for beginner drivers like myself to learn what all the stuff is on the maps and charts or how to use it. For $4.99 a month it is not worth it, maybe later on I will try it again.
The app does what it says it will. Notifications for surges and historical surge data. Would definitely rate it higher if any of these things were changed: a) The surge graph was bigger/easier to read and b) labeled smaller intervals on the x-axis so that you could see what time surges went up or down. C) You could export historical surge data.
Using app on my Samsung Galaxy S7 AT&T. Works good no issues. Only using the free subscription as I only have two or 3 surge areas to monitor.
use to love this app however since the recent update to the dashboard on Ubers payment statement this will no longer add trips to use for the mapping purpose of imported rides... please update the app asap so it will work with the new update of Ubers payment statement.
It's useful for getting surge alerts in your area, but that's about it. The HUD is useless unless you work for both Lyft and Uber AND use Google Maps. Video recording fail on a GS7 edge. Don't know about other devices. You can't name your alert points anymore, so good luck finding out exactly where you're getting surge out of your 12 points. Analyze gives you a graph with very little useful info, and no indication what any of it means. The app feels unfinished. For $3.99/mo it should be complete.
The latest update has render this once useful app to being useless. In previous versions, drivers could place points at locations to be aware of surges anywhere selected; now, the app only shows points in a +/- 5 mile radius. You can drag points but they don't stay in position and reset if you move from your current location. Also, the update made me subscribe again at 3.99 /month, even though I've already subscribed for 4.99/month. Making customers contact you to get a refund seems like Shady business
It was much more dependable before the new interface updates. Now surge only works sometimes. Hope performance improves over time with new updates.
I liked it better before the update, can't set my points of interest anymore.
I used this app to determine where I should go to work each day by using the trending data and the current surge data.
Crashing while trying to create an account on galaxy S7 edge, developer responds to email and we're working on it :) I'll update soon
Every time I open the application and try to start a new account, it stops and I receive a message stating the application has to close.
Using app on my Samsung Galaxy S7 AT&T. Works good no issues. Only using the free subscription as I only have two or 3 surge areas to monitor.
Cannot make account crashes every time I try, Galaxy S6.
Cannot create a new account. The app just crashes.
It crashes every time I try to create an account.
Keeps crashing every time i try to create new account.
Why do you charge subscription if app is not functioning???
Excellent tool, needs some more improvement still.
use to love this app however since the recent update to the dashboard on Ubers payment statement this will no longer add trips to use for the mapping purpose of imported rides... please update the app asap so it will work with the new update of Ubers payment statement.
Finally, an app that lets me see the legitimate times for surges in town rather than guessing due to the driver app. No more having to switch between the driver and rider apps and taking time to look for a surge. This app does it for me. A great addition for any uber driver.

This app doesn't provide any use instructions that I could find when I attempted to use it, so I closed it and forgot about it, only to find I had been paying for it for 4 months. Going to request a refund, as it provides information that is available for free from Uber.
