MyTrails Pro License

Don't waste your money. My Trails is supposed to be offline Topo trail maps however... I had to buy the app to download maps. After I paid for it I tried to download maps. The offline maps are virtually impossible to download. It uses sectors instead of states. I tried to download an area about the size of Missouri & Arkansas. It said it was about 86,000,000 sectors and would take about 888 days to download. I thought that can't be so and let it download for 3 days. Apparently it was serious about the 888 days. I never got the maps downloaded and can't get a refund. Guess I should have used the money to light a fire in the fireplace. It would have been more useful

This is the best aap ever i seen in store. Very accurate, speedy... Still some features are missing. There are now option to draw your own gpx route. And Online database of gpx route are missing. After this feature addition, this app will be number 1 app for hiking.

Love this App. I use it for hiking! fishing and hunting. It work so well, I replaced my Garmin Rino with this App.

I found this app the best considering the amount of apps ive tried over the last five years, great for tracking and creating trails..

Really like this app. I like to plan tracks first on my pc with my £17.95/year O/S subscription as that has best Explorer footpaths, then import the gpx file into my trails. Sweet! The open data maps are good value so worth the £5 annual subs for uk but it misses many footpaths so the subscription direct from ordnance survey website is worthwhile.

I've tried a lot of similar apps but have found this one to be the most simplistic to use. I've downloaded offline maps with easy and mapped trails etc. with no issues at all. There is a slight learning curve but it's not nearly as complicated to learn as some other apps. in this category. Well done.

This is the most god awful piece of software I have ever had! It has cost me so much money and time because the gpx files either just disappear or don't seem to show up. It shows up on the map, but try and find it in a folder when you plug your phone into your computer so you can use a program like topo fusion and you might as well forget it. It doesn't show up in the folder. Only on the phone and there is NO support! There was some support in the beginning, but that disappeared. My pleas have fallen on deaf ears. This program has so much promise yet falls so short. It also doesn't have all the aerials available any more. Just one now. I just got done spending another 3.5 hours trying to get my valuable information out of this garbage program. Don't let all these positive reviews fool you. At one point I would have given it a great review too, but recently it has went in the toilet. Save yourself a massive headache and get a real program! One where you can get some real support!!! Unfortunately I talked a friend of mine (a programmer) into getting this program too. Now I have egg on my face because his has went down hill as well. Too bad the designer quit caring about his customers

Looks good except the compass is back to front. When I spin the phone the map turns opposite direction to Google maps..... Oddly enough goggle's map is correct

I tried several similar apps and this one is by far the best. I love the integration with OS and IGN maps. It it easy to use and has some great features for both the serious and not-so-serious hiker!!

Used the app last year on my Wildfire during a 8-day trip in the wild. Once used to the various menus and options, everything works flawlessly, it's snappy and (as far as I can tell) energy-efficient. The greatest feature of all is the support for various map formats (MGMaps etc.), perfect for offline use or for one's custom cartographic data :) Bravo!

Ability to purchase OS Explorer maps - which to me is a kind of functionality - has gone from the basic version. I only bought the Pro licence to support the developer for providing this ability.

Love the app. The free version would probably be all I need, but I'm using this a lot, and I want to support the dev. I hike and canoe, and of course I fish, so I will get quite a bit of use out of this. That said, I really like this app for street maps as well. Job well done.

Even if you just use free maps like me, get this to pre-load more maps for when you have GPS but no phone signal!

This is the best app I have found for offline maps - Use it for backcountry hunting, ATVing, etc. Also, is it VERY easy to use.....

Works great. Transferred between old and new phone easily. Does everything as advertised.
