SINOPSIS
Manual del Agua y la Seguridad Alimentaria es un Documento Práctico que describa la importancia del Agua, su disponibilidad, los métodos para obtenerla, retenerla y favorecer la infiltración al subsuelo, manejando las cuencas y micro cuencas. Enunciar los diferentes métodos de tratamiento de aguas residuales, las posibilidades de aprovechamiento de la lluvia, como crear y fortalecer una cultura del agua, las nuevas formas de producción y las políticas hidráulicas indispensables para seguir haciendo viables las ciudades y el desarrollo sustentable de la economía.
Habla de los problemas y soluciones del agua y agrega temáticas que orientan sobre la producción de alimentos en pequeños espacios familiares, la agricultura de conservación, el mejoramiento de la productividad agropecuaria y acuícola y el rescate de las especies acuícolas que se han perdido aceleradamente.
El fin último de un documento como este es contribuir a encontrar soluciones a la problemática del agua y la seguridad alimentaria e impulsar una cultura del agua que reconozca la necesidad de formar líderes que resuelvan problemas actuales y guíen el desarrollo de las comunidades.
