About Woodland Alarm Clock (Beta)
Wake up to the sound of nature with the Woodland Alarm Clock. Rise gently to a cardinal's cheerful song, the sound of gently falling rain, or a loon's otherworldly wail. Or, become wide awake to the punctuated territorial calls of the woodpecker.
A woodland scene of your choice slowly brightens, simulating a transition from night to day. Meanwhile the bird song gradually intensifies, bringing you reliably to wakefulness without a startling jolt.
Dozens of bird songs and backgrounds are included, but if you want, you can choose sounds and pictures from your own media library.
All photographs were taken by the author, and most are taken in Minnesota parks.
Requirements:
Android 3.0 Honeycomb or higher
Approx 60MB Storage (Varies according to screen resolution)
Approx 25MB RAM (Varies according to screen resolution)

This is doubly effective: first the nature sounds gently bring you up from deep to light sleep, then the cats jump on you to alert you there's a bird in the house that they can't find... Even with the unexpected side effect it's still a more pleasant way to wake up than a loud, jarring alarm. I also really like the icon☺️.

Great idea using bird calls. I love that part. But problem with the alarm not going off. I set it and saved and it didn't go off several important occasions. I'm Uninstalling.

This app is exactly what I have been looking for, can't find it anywhere else. The thing is, it stopped going off at the times I set it! Please fix this, I miss my sweet bird chirp alarms! But one too many mornings waking up at the wrong time and I had to stop using it.

The nicest alarm app I've ever used. It plays a gentle dawn birdsong while a picture gradually lights up showing a woodland dawn scene. You can set multiple alarms. It hasn't let me down yet

So far it is perfect! I can't stand the obnoxious good morning jingle that came pre loaded on my phones clock APP so I stopped using it. THIS I like. It gently wakes you up instead of the blaring, shocking noise. Such a better way to start your day!

Easy to use and customizable. The sounds and pictures are very clear and relaxing.

This is a simple, yet beautiful app. Very simple to use, and lots of nice nature noises to use as an alarm. The bird sounds are so real that my hunter cat appeared on the bed, quite convinced there were birds *somewhere*! I would like to be able to change to a 12 hour clock instead of 24, though. Haven't run into any problems yet; so far so good!
