Absolutely LOVE the look of this. It's very simple to set up and the random light show is very cool. Tuning is intuitive and looks great. The device was easier to set up than I imagined, and the app is easy to pair. Overall it still has a lot of bugs though. The songs aren't fun yet (no rythym and just single notes, despite good song choice). The "light show" section doesn't work. The chords are weird (for instance, the choice for G major - really?!), and the layout for choosing chords is over-complicated, especially when people likely to be using that section of the app are more likely to need major or minor chords, not sharp diminished sevenths! I feel like there's a better way to do that section yet. I'm optimistic about this though because there clearly has been a lot of love put into the Fret Zealot. They've accomplished a lot, and hopefully it will go from strength to strength.
