I use this app to keep my fretboard knowledge sharp on the train to and from work. Great for what it has. Would love to see an update that allows up to 24 frets, and maybe some interval training. Either way, I would recommend this app!

D70%
by D####:

I'm left handed and I hate it when left handers are 100% ignored and left handed people decide to do everything right handed. So I love the consideration of this app.

D70%
by D####:

The best. If only it had 8 string and alternate tuning support. EDIT: Oh, and 24 frets would be a nice bonus!

If I could give 6 stars I would. Been trying to learn the note placement on the fretboard forever, this actually worked!

D70%
by D####:

The app plays audible notes when it quizzes you. Yay! Unfortunately they sound terrible, like short electronic midi semblances of notes that sound nothing like when I pick the real note on an instrument. I don't want to mis-train my ear and so refuse to learn with bad note sounds. Shame

ABSOLUTELY recommend it!! It took me by surprise that I could learn the guitar fret board in several ways. Sense oodles of ingenuity put into its making!!

Z70%

No frills, nothing fancy. But perfectly functional and has all the features you need to get familiar with your fretboard.

What the hell is this good for? And what's with the show me cheat button?

P70%
by P####:

I had this app for about 5 minutes and played the first game. Identify. Bought it. Well worth .99c just for the first game. Dev did a great job. If I can't learn the notes by this then I'm just old or something. This would even be great on my P.C. Oh, $1.05 after Google gets done. Still worth it.

G70%
by G####:

Very effective, but PLEASE, add an option to SHOW/HIDE FRET NUMBERS. The real instrument does not have these visual aids, and I tend to rely on them with the app!

H70%
by H####:

Excellent app, and ads-free version is so cheap it's a no-brainer. I've checked out many, many fretboard trainers in Google Play and this was by far my favorite. It uses a "games" approach to memorizing all of the notes on the fingerboard, and it WORKS. I recommend this app highly, and am happy to show the developer my support with a donation to remove the ads - great job!

Really helpful app. No gimmicks no fuss and you dont need to give away your lifes secrets to install. Nice to get an honest app every now and then. Thank you

It crashes on the last note of "locate all" mode with 22 frets. I'd pay to remove ads if not for this bug.

Great app for beginners like me learning the notes of the fretboard. Would highly recommend to others. Just a suggestion though... Hope there is a way to toggle on/off the numbers above the fretboard. Because beginners like me have a tendency to rely on the numbers instead of the dots on the fretboard. And maybe put in a mic function so that the app may be integrated in bass practice. Instead of pushing the right note in the app. Just pluck the right note on the bass. Just my two cents... Anyway great app. Keep up the good work devs!

Just what I was looking for to learn the ukulele fretboard. Lost one star because I hate ads. Please make a paid version that is ad free.

Very useful, I've only been using it for a day and I'm seeing improvements. A paid version without ads would be great though.

The app it's self is good just the scrolling adds are annoying. I get that the author needs to make money. So I'll be sure to boycott the vendors who's adds scrolled continuously while I used this app. BTW did delete the app.

Can't believe how quickly I've memorized the whole fretboard with this, just doing it on the bus or during ad breaks etc. 1 week and I'm 100 ready to move on to the next stage of my learning. Big thank you to the developers!
